Keep your pumpkins around a little longer with this cute idea. ¦ Why no live video or sound?! ¦ (Click Show more) I've not been feeling too well so I decided a slideshow would be better than not posting anything at all. I have been having double vision and headaches and my doctor won't see me for another two weeks so I may not be doing videos for a little while longer. It's to the point watching TV is difficult so working on crafts has been near impossible. I may do more slideshow type tutorials until then if I get a good response to this one... if not then I may just push videos back a little while longer. I miss them (and you guys) and hope I can get back to making them soon. ____________________________________ Royalty Free Music by Gillicuddy from http://freemusicarchive.org/ ____________________________________ Materials: Two sizes of pumpkins Skewers or Dowels for stabilizing/stacking Burlap, ribbon or material for scarf. (or knit/crochet one!) Pins for the mouth (or paint it on) Googley Eyes, Buttons, Paint etc. for eyes. Sticks for arms. I used dead basil stems. Optional: Spackle or plaster for faux snow The idea here is to poke the holes prior to pushing the pumpkins together. Also poke holes where the sticks will go so you don't risk breaking the sticks by trying to push them in as is. Arrange the pins for the mouth or paint on one... eyes can be painted or glued on. Googley eyes look silly or a more country feel could be achieved with buttons. Add a scarf and some plaster for snow if you'd like. Glitter can be mixed with the plaster for added glitz and eye irritation. Have fun with it. =3 ?Thanks for watching!? ____________________________________ NOTE: I am testing out comments on this video. All of my older videos have had their comments disabled because I was not being alerted when comments were left. I'll see how this goes and may decide to add more videos to the allowed comments (or) possibly turn the comments off on this one depending on how the alerts go. ____________________________________
