Start out by making two complete (separate) "V" shapes for both of the chevrons. After you make the two complete V shapes for each of the chevrons make another complete (separate) V shape on the chevrons again. After this the strings should be organized and settled enough for you to now join the very middle strings (between the chevrons) to attach the two together. After you join them in the very middle just go back to treating them as two separate chevron bracelets.
