Click "Show more" for Pattern Instructions Material: Six Stranded Embroidery Floss _________________________________________________ LENGTH: All strands should be roughly 65 inches long and will then be folded in half to form a loop and doubles of each thread. � SETUP: You will need a single base thread on the left and right. 5 4 3 2 1 0 - 0 1 2 3 4 5 0 = Base Strand (Won't show unless you swap to it @ repeat) For 1-5 pick out your favorite colors. ¤ PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS ¤ Start by making even bundles on either side consisting of 5 colors + 1 base strand. With the left bundle make FK's with every string over the bundle until you reach the base strand. With the right bundle make BK's with every string over the bundle until you reach the base strand. At this point we will be creating a basic diamond. Keep in mind the first strand on the left and right are the base strands and will be knotted on and not knotting with. Start with the left half of strands- With the second thread from the left make a BK on to the base strand. Now the base strand and the second thread will become one. Knot with the third strand BK on to the bunch, then the fourth and fifth. Make sure to work BK and stack them. Now we will do the opposite with the right half. With the second thread from the right make a FK on to the base thread (first thread) and then continue with the others working single BK on to the growing bunch of threads. You'll now be set up for the repeat.
