Yes this is another aircraft post lol, I just cant help it.. designing is taking a back seat whilst I brush up on my photography skills..This again was from Red Flag Nellis AFB back in March this year..The Boeing F/A-18E and F/A-18F Super Hornet are twin-engine, carrier-capable, multirole fighter aircraft variants based on the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet.Its was one of my favourite aircraft of the exercise to be honest..

I learnt today Nellis AFB lost one of their display pilots in a training exercise ! Thunderbird 4 crashed in the Test and Training Range in the Nevada desertOnly 2 weeks ago I was there watching them for 9 days doing their displays!
They never once faltered and delivered a fantastic display always.This is the last photo I took of Thunderbird 4 Maj.

Yes heres the new kid on the block due to take over from the GR4 Tornado at RAF Marham, its The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II.
I was lucky to see it in action at Red Flag Nellis AFB in Nevada last week..
Its a single engine aircraft and has the ability to take off on a short runway and land vertically.. Photo taken by me personally.Funny I am not to keen on how it looks to be honest!
I loved the shape of the F22 Raptor and thought maybe as it was stealth like would look like that but it reminds me of a beetle.. and its stance is NOT very fighter looking..
My opinion of course..Anyway thats my little bit of news this week, Happy Easter to all my customers old and new !

Well look at this beauty! One of my fave aircraft of all time, This one reminds me so much of the Vulcan... It howls on turning and looks so graceful in the skies above us.
However its one of the most deadly in its class being stealth.This was just one of the stunning planes I saw last week doing their duty to protect their country.At the time I took this shot I was actually standing next too a speedway track on the other side of the road to the Air Force Base, and if you look closely you can see the track in the canopy of the F22..
I was quite surprised to see it myself then I thought WOW what a catch!I have so many photos to sieve through its going to take me months..Anyway thats all from me this week..

Well I am in Vegas! No not for gambling... For Red Flag! The US Air force Flight and ground exercise! And what a display of aircraft there is..From the Thunderbirds display team to all jets from every Base in the USA...
I have nearly 7,000 shots to go through when I get home so you can be sure of more photos of the sights we have seen here..I am definitely coming back next year too, I wish now I had booked longer than 10 days its just not enough time to do everything I want to do.But just take a look at the shot of Thunder Bird 6...
On take off from Nellis AFB.. They took off twice daily for their display practice and what a sight it was.. Oh well I need to get back to taking shots so I will catch up next week..
