Ribbon Rose Postcard Dark Tea 8 Scrapbooking Papers KitCompleted by Lady Rosie Designs

I fell in love with the look of these papers but I don't do scrapbooking but it wasnt going to stop me doing my own thing with them.

I turned them into my own card making.

Firstly I took the large image into my graphic folder and reduced it down to a 6" square design. I typed in the words Happy Birthday on the postcard. I printed it off on 200gm gloss paper and cut out. I made my own gold lace background and mounted it on that using DST and then onto white card with DST.

I added 3 butterflies and a blue organza ribbon. I made a matching insert and put a white oval in the middle for a greeting. It looks gorgeous.
