8 x 8 Christmas Backing Papers - Set Four Christmas FloralCompleted by Joan Prince
OccasionPrinted out Page 7 twice and Page 8 once. Trimmed one piece of each backing sheet to make two panels one overlapping the other and matted them to some matching green card.
I attached this to a white 8 x 8 scallop edge card using d.s tape.
Then using white card and Joanna Sheen Isobel Lace Border Die I cut out one strip and attached this to the middle using wet glue.
I then added some white oval and tiny circle pearls to the lace and placed some tiny white pearls to the four corners.
Then using cerise chiffon ribbon I handmade a bow and placed this in the centre top using a glue gun.
I typed "Merry Christmas" in pink, printed it onto white card and used a punch to cut out the sentiment which I placed on the card using a large foam pad.
I also typed out "Happy Christmas" and "Seasons Greetings" so that if my customer wishes to change the sentiment they can just add their choice over the top.
I then took the 2nd sheet of floral paper, trimmed to fit the card and used Tattered Lace Notched Square Die to cut an aperture in the middle.
I then placed this backing sheet inside the card as the insert. The white showing through the aperture can be used by my customer to write their own message. There is a great selection of papers in this kit and I shall be using it time and time again.
Poinsettias grow into trees here in Spain and we see them all year round.
