I took lots of the elements from the kit into one of my graphics packages and resized, moved around and layered until I had a layout I was happy with for a card front at just under 8" square size.
I also made a second copy of the watch face and the three corner "gems" onto the empty area of my A4 working area.
I typed on the greeting "Ar Eich Ymddeoliad" - which is Welsh for "On Your Retirement" - onto the card front.
I printed the page I created onto 300gsm, Super Smooth, white cardstock.
After cutting out the pieces I went round the edge of the mail layer with a gold Wink of Stella brush pen. i also used the same pen to go aorund the bezzle of the watch.
I went over the "gems", the "glass" front of the watch and the greeting using a Sakura clear glaze pen.
The base image was then attached directly to the front of an 8" cream Crafty Bob base card using fingerlift tape.
The second layer of the watch face was added using 2mm deep, double sided, foam tape, and the gems were added using glue gel.
A fab kit that would look lovely as a scrap book page to show anything to do with time, such as time for retirement.
I've just tried to showcase several elements on this card, but just dropping the "on" word from the wording and putting a person's photo on their last day at work and you have a simple scrapbook page.
