I printed out the covers and spine on 250 gsm photo paper and used 160 gsm paper for all the other printing, as the embellishments will create some bulk and I find thinner material is easier to thread into the twine binding.

I used japanese bunka embroidery yarn instead of twine for the binding.

I didn't use the divider pages that came with the kit; instead, I used some embellishments as tabs on some of the pages.

Since I already knew who this was going to be for, I dipped straight into my stashes to find some stickers, glitter tape, ribbon, buttons, and brads to match this beautiful design.

Finally, I attached one of the sentiments to the front cover using 2mm foam stickers in the middle and double sided tape at the top and bottom.
