Turn a map you no longer need into an envelope that's fun to read. These are also known as "mapelopes".
Steps
-
Gently peel apart the glued flaps of the unused envelope and unfold it.
-
Lay the unfolded envelope face down on the map and trace around it. then cut the envelope shape out of the map.
-
Fold and glue this cutout shape in all the same places the original envelope was folded and glued.
-
Put your letter inside and glue the top flap down. Stick the mailing label on the front. Write your friend's or family member's name & address on the label, then add a stamp and send the letter on its way.
-
Finished.
Tips
- You don't have to use a map - you could use decorated paper or any other type of paper.
