Make a sea creature mobile for a sea theme at home or in the classroom. This is a cheap and cheerful way to keep amused and indulge in an afternoon of traditional cutting and pasting fun.
Steps
-
- Cut a piece of elastic cord about 20 cm long.

Put some glue on the underside of your bowl and stick the ends of the felt strips down. Work your way round the bowl once, add more glue and repeat until all the strips are glued. These will dangle from your sea creature like tentacles when you hang it up.

Tips
- If you hang up a piece of string from one side of the room to the other, you can hang your sea creature from it, along with strands of green, brown and yellow paper/cellophane dangling down as seaweed. Be imaginative and add other sea creatures you have coloured in, cut out and added decorations to.
