Steps

Hold your pencil in one hand and wind the half a pipe cleaner around the end in a spiral with the other. There should be about two inches left hanging off. (You can use a six-inch ribbon, but be sure to glue/tape it.)

String 4-6 beads onto the part hanging off. Leave a quarter inch of space after the last bead.

Bend the beaded two inches in a sort of circle or arch and tuck the quarter-inch space under the top spiral. Make sure it's secure.

Stick a the end of a feather into the loop of pipe cleaner that goes around the back of the shiny metal part. The rounded end should face the beads.

Now you're finished and ready to make tons more!
Tips
- When beading, keep the pipe cleaner straight and smooth as long as possible.
- If you use a long feather, stick it further down through several loops.
- Use alphabet beads to personalize.
