Can't sleep? Mind buzzing with a migraine? You need a classic and very simple remedy. An herbal sleep pillow is what you need.

Steps

  1. Get some fabric such as cotton.

    Get some fabric such as cotton. Get it in a solid, pastel color. Cut out 2 8" by 8" squares.
  2. Get good, high quality sleep herbs such as hops, skullcap, lavender and chamomile. You can blend a few if you want. Hops is quite pungent, so if it isn't blended, it may keep you awake instead of lull you to sleep because of its odor.
  3. Sew you pillow squares together. Leave one side open. Fill that side with about three cups of your herb.
  4. Sew the final side closed. Your sleep pillow is done!


Tips

  • You can cut the fabric in different shapes. It makes children more accepting to sleeping with it. Use hearts stars, animals and any other children's interest.
  • Feel free to play with the amounts of herbs you put in the mix.


Warnings

  • Be careful if you use hops for kids. This is used for making beer, so make sure the pillow is sewn tightly closed.
