News & Updates from Margaret Jones

I enjoy several crafts, one of which is crocheting. I have been selling my wares at the local farm market this summer, unfortunately the market will be closing this week, but there will be some Christmas sales coming up, so I'll be taking my work to some of those.
One of my best-sellers is the "Baby in a Bag" which you can see here, little girls love them. Here are a couple of my latest cards.

We have a trailer (caravan) on a seasonal site at a local campground, and last year we moved to a different site in the same campground, we wanted one nearer some trees so we could get some shade in the summer.
Imagine my delight when we went own there a few weeks ago for a weekend's camping and saw this sight - one of the trees in amongst the others was a wild apple tree, and it was in full bloom.
What a pretty surprise, but I don't think any apples that may appear will make very good eating. Here's one of my latest cards, plus one for FIFA fans.

I guess this seagull can't read, or maybe he just likes to ignore the rules! This pic was taken on our recent trip back to the UK celebrating our 50th anniversary.
You may recognise the house in the background as Doc Martin's house, we're huge fans of the series, so had to take a trip to Port Isaac, which is the location where most of the filming takes place, known in the story as Port Wenn.
We also took a trip back to the church where we were married, and had our photo taken outside the church, fifty years later - to the hour! Here is a bumper pack of some of my dog and cat iris folding patterns, also an any-occasion card with a little bit of owl philosophy.

When the snow comes, the birds have a hard time finding food, so we throw breadcrumbs and birdseed out on our deck, where we can watch them from inside.
Lately we've had visits from several pheasants, as well as the usual blue jays and snow buntings.
The smaller birds are cheekier, but the pheasants are really skittish, and will scoot away fast as soon as they see someone moving inside the house. Here are a couple of my latest cards, a monochrome card for a BFF, and my licence plates, which may be personalized with any name or greeting by leaving me a message in the Ask an Expert/Designer area of the Forum.
Licence plate may be peronalized with any name

We have had so much rain here in Nova Scotia for the last few weeks, and yesterday was no different, but there was some consolation from Mother Nature when she sent this beautiful rainbow down for all to see, although if you wanted to search for the pot of gold you'd need to row across John Bay! Here are a couple of my pillow box cards, you will find many more on my page - just search Pillow Box.
If you would like any of them personalized with a name, just contact me through the Ask a Designer area in the Forum.
