Out for a paddle by Joan King

We have just gone into Autumn although the temperatures are still around 27 degrees. I decided this week to go for a walk on the beach and the tide was out so I paddled along instead in knee high water. It was warm and quite relaxing until I suddenly came across a bronze whaler shark about 2 metres long in the shallows darting around for fish I assume, about 3 metres away from me. I quickly backed out and stayed at the edge to finish my walk. I did get some pictures but I only have a small old phone not a smart phone so its the best I could do. This week I am promoting two of my designs which are perfect for the upcoming Mothers Day. Hope you like them.

The Big 60 by Suzi Cooper

This week I reached the big 60. First thing in the morning I went to my hairdressers who had opened early so that she could fit me in. I then came home to get myself made up & dressed ready to go out for lunch with Allen & 14 friends. We had a lovely meal & I received lots of cards and gifts. When it was time for dessert my plate arrived decorated with chocolate & strawberry syrups which read Happy Birthday. One of my friends took this photo of me with my dessert.I must admit I dont feel 60 & as someone said I dont act it either.

World Book Day by Kelly Barker

I know you have probably seen lots of world book day pictures this week, but I really wanted to share my daughters costumes with you as well. My kids love a bit of dressing up and there seems to be an event every other week where I have to make/buy/create bits for a costume. This week I was thankful that my youngest daughter Imogen wanted to go as Ruby the red fairy, which is a character we have done before, so I had all the bits handy already. Jessica wanted to go as Hermione Granger from Harry Potter, I managed to get a costume for quite a bargain on eBay and I created a wand out of an old broken fairy wand, a wooden skewer, some tissue paper and some wire...I think I missed my Blue Peter calling! The girls were really happy with their outfits and the creations at school were wonderful. This week I have 12 items on special off, with 25% off, some best sellers in there also!

JIMINY CRICKET ? by Wanda Lipski

My husband and I had a restaurant meal this week to celebrate our first meeting 15 years ago , and spent half the meal admiring this out-of-season cricket who seemed as fascinated by us as we were with him (or her .. I have no idea how to sex a cricket. He crawled all over our plates, no doubt sampling the food and seemed particularly interested by the wine in my husbands glass. Were his antennae waving around a little more drunkenly after his drink? Difficult to say! This week Ive been busy with lots of new designs, including more of my dangle cards, as the weather has been totally miserable here. Ah the joys of living up in the mountains ... ENJOY!

Hardwick Hall by Carol Clarke

We were lucky to have 2 Cuddle n Giggle days this week as Olivia, who is a big sister to Austin, had an inset day from school ... and this time as Austin was in nursery we got to take her out on her own ... and she loved it! lol We let her choose where to go and as she chose Hardwick Hall thats where we headed. She loved reacquainting herself with all the things she loved there and especially her bestest friend Owl! lol It was a really cold day but oddly this didnt stop her wanting an ice cream .... Grandad & I chose to have a nice warm coffee though! lol Below are 2 of my NEWEST On the Shelf Cards for a NEW Big Sister or Brother. A lovely way to introduce children like Olivia to the fun of having a new sibling. Watch out for more Coming soon ... Just as soon as Ive drawn the characters! lol

Spring Crocus by Anne Lever

I snapped this happy photo of a cluster of beautiful purple crocus on my way back home today. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, the flowers were blooming, if it wasnt for the fact that I was wearing a thick coat and gloves, I could almost have thought it was springtime! Surely not long now!

Colouring Fun! by Sue Way

Last weekend when the girl came over I let them play with my best pencils. We had great fun printing off some lovely images for them to colour & they surprised me with their beautiful colouring in. Usually, Jessica just wants to finish it, but she really took care over these ones. I think it was because the images were so special, I even had a little go. Imogen loved choosing the pictures & watching them come out of the printer, she ended up with a wad of them lol They also enjoy helping me cross off the numbers on Crafty Bobs bingo and Imogen wont let me forget. She got quite upset when we didnt win though lol They are coming for a sleepover this weekend, so am sure the printer will be busy again. This week I have added a few more Fashion Girls to my Its Your Birthday series. Please click the follow button next to my name on my home page so that you can quickly find my latest updates & dont forget to check out my latest Special Offers with 20% off. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387
