Blue Christmas... by Janice Shehan

Here is a photo of my husband Jim, and1 of his new Christmas gifts, Shawnee. Shawnee is a Hyacinth Blue Macaw Parrot, which I gave him as a gift. He loves parrots and was speechless when he saw this gift! I had his son walk in with the bird on his shoulder and Jim almost fell off his chair. It was a happy time for everyone!

I began some holiday designs for the coming months, such as Valentines and St. Patricks Days and Easter as well. Thanks for looking!

Dressing up fun! by Kelly Barker

My girls absolutely love fancy dress and with school and all the clubs they go to there are plenty of opportunities to dress up as their favourite characters. In the next couple of months my eldest Jessica who is 8 needs costumes for Annie and Matilda for a small show her drama group are putting on. She needs a world book day costume and has decided on Hermoine from Harry Potter and she also needs a costume from Beauty and the Beast for a drama workshop. My youngest Imogen who is 5 straight away wanted to of course be princess Belle and Jessica has decided on Babette the feather duster! That just leaves me to create these things, but I do secretly love it and now that I have recently learnt how to sew on a machine I might get more and more adventurous with the outfits! Heres a picture of Jessica in some of last years outfits. She was a zombie school girl, Veruca Salt, Ruby the red fairy and Danger Mouse. My items on sale this week are all about love, plenty of designs for Valentines Day, anniversaries, weddings and backing paper kits too, all with 25% off. Thanks for looking and dont forget to follow me on craftsuprint x

300,000 Dollars by Silvia Griffin

Over 2 Million Visitors a Year!Quartzsite, Arizona, barely 18 miles east of the Colorado river, on I-10, may be the RV boondocking capital of the world. Quartzsite has become a mecca to visitors and exhibitors for rocks, gems, mineral specimens and fossils during the towns famous two-month-long gem show and swap meet every January and February. From its humble beginnings the now-massive Quartzsite show has grown to RV-epic proportions with vendors offering everything under the Quartzsite sun. This is a inside picture of a Motorhome- Camper we looked at which cost over 300000 Dollars!!! I personally cannot see the value of it but each his own.

Also wanted to let everybody know I will be on Vacation from Jan. 15th to Feb. 2. Thanks for your support.

Gong Xi Fa Cai by Sue Way

When my first Golden Retriever Abbey was a pup I joined a lovely Golden Retriever forum and met many lovely people. We all helped each other with our pups, through good times and bad. Now 13 yrs later we still chat on Facebook. We have seen our pups grow up & sadly some have left us and new puppies have arrived. Although we have never met, I feel I can call these people my friends. A few years ago one lady sent Alfie a lovely soft dog toy for his birthday, all the way from New Zealand. A few weeks ago I was laughing with another lady in Singapore about how I love Chinese New Year songs & one, in particular, I play every year. Well, this morning the postman brought me this beautiful Chinese New Year card from her. It was such a lovely surprise. On the front it says Gong Xi Fa Cai which means wishing you to be prosperous in the coming year This inspired me to design a Chinese New Year card for you to make, it will be live on the site today. I hope you like it. I also have it available without the greeting. Please see my latest designs below and thank you for clicking on the follow button under my name on my shop front, so you never miss an update. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

A big milestone! by Robyn Cockburn

Congratulations to my Dad who just turned 80! Woohoo! He has outlived both his parents and is still a clever and creative man. Of course he has also always been wonderful to his family. Love ya Dad! :) And wow the temperatures here have been stifling and horrible. Maybe Dads secret is that he was born in North Queensland and is just so used t the heat. Wheww. He didnt want a fuss for his birthday, so I bought he and Mum tickets to the Outback Spectacular Show and I put a meal in the slow cooker for them, so they dint have to make dinner! They were delighted. :)

The Three Santas! by Carol Clarke

My On the Shelf Cards are celebrating their 2nd birthday this week - that is of when I had the idea and first started work on them - and so I thought Id share the story of how I came to design them. I was putting away the Christmas decorations and was looking at the Santas in this photo and wondering if I I could somehow design cards that would also sit on the shelf. Well it took me months to work out how to get them to not only sit up but also to fold flat for posting too ... its true to say that my first experiments with the template had them being very laid back instead of sitting up! lol But I did eventually manage to get the template right and then all I had to do was to draw all the characters!! Im amazed to see that Ive now got nearly 2700 of them on CUP .... but .... there will be more to coming soon .... just as soon as Ive drawn them all! lol

Water, Water, Everywhere!

by Janyce Cotterill

We visited Alnwick Garden in Northumberland recently. They have super water features and this little boy in the red coat had great fun! Top Left - here he is entering the area - Now what is going on here? Top Right - A little timid - Ill just stand and watchBottom Left - getting a little braver - Maybe just a drop on my hand. Bottom Right - Right, going in for a good soaking! His parents were all ready with a change of clothes and didnt mind him getting soaking wet at all. Now that IS a fun day out! I have a few more pics of the garden Ill share with you another week.Im leaving you with a couple of my latest designs - Birth months and Birthstones - I have four out at the moment, the rest of the year will be available soon! Thank you for your interest.

Spring Collection with Amaryllis Bulbs

by Judith Henry

I started my bulbs at Thanksgiving in November. I could see that each bulb had two stems. Two bulbs were bright red and the third is a white with red accents. As you can see I now have three stems in bloom. One stem bloomed for Christmas and is gone. But what a spectacular sight they are today. Most Amaryllis have only 4 flowers. These each have 6. My white one will probably bloom at Easter. These were just big box store bulbs which I havent always had any luck with.

Doggie Sitting! by Tina Fitch

Here she is my little adopted Dog! Dolly is her name and she is a cockapoo.. My daughter has had her for just over a year now in fact her Birthday was on Christmas Day. She comes to visit often and loves it here, Thats probably because I give her the little treats she is not meant to have ...She comes in and gives me a little lick then jumps on my sofa and has a little nap! We then play games where she follows me around everywhere and when I turn to stroke her she runs away and I have to catch her.. Its making me want another dog .. We lost out Rottie 4 years ago now due a pyometra and I swore after saying goodbye never would I own another dog, it broke my heart. But Dolly seems to have bought the yearning back to me.. She is coming to stay with us for a while at the end of the month due to Amber celebrating her 21st in Disney... I just cant wait!Happy New Year to everyone!

Spot the cat..... by Anne Lever

I was one of the first of my family and friends to take the christmas decorations down this time. They had been up since late november, so the day after boxing day, thats it! Most of the christmas stuff has been packed away or recycled, apart from a couple of bits of wrapping. The cat , Smudge, has taken a liking to them, and loves hiding inside them and playing....Im invisible!
