O MEGA Christmas! by Tina Fitch

Oh what a lovely Christmas I had this year! (Some years ago I bought my husband a limited edition Omega 007 James Bond watch.. He always admired them so I thought he would love it if I actually bought him one.. So I did and he owns the Pierce Brosnan 007 Die Another Day Omega Watch) Anyway back to this Christmas..There wasnt anything under the tree for me this year or so I thought.. Christmas Day came and I was inundated with special gifts.. Harry Potter. Star wars but my last present to open was a smallish box... I opened very carefully as it was wrapped in Red Omega Paper which I didnt really take any notice of till later .... oh dear what a lovely surprise I got when I opened the box. My own Omega Rose gold and diamond watch..from my lovely husband.. I was absolutely over the moon.Something I will treasure forever, its just beautiful in every way.. Not sure any present can top that one EVER!!!!ALL MY designs are on SALE till the 31st December 20% off all of them.. files come in all formats too.. http://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/Thanks for your continued support... Polar Express by Joanna Swinton

During the holidays my two oldest Grandchildren went on the Polar Express. They made the journey as close to the movieas possible. They had to go in their PJs and they were sent golden tickets. The Guard collected the tickets as they got on the train and they were given hot chocolate and cookies on the trip. Santa was on the train and spent quite a lot of time talking to every child. They kids had a magical time and really enjoyed themselves.

A day with the Family by Vicki Avcin

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. Its the time of the year when families are supposed to get together but not all of us can do that. Our children and grandchildren live at different ends of the state and we cannot just up and go visit as we have animals that need to be tended to so cant get away. Some are working over Christmas and we are also on call. So lovely surprise on Boxing Day afternoon when my son and family turned up. Apparently hubby knew about it but kept it a secret. We talked well into the night and then went out to lunch the next day. After lunch we went across the road to the beach and although rain was brewing, it was still great to just walk and talk with the wind blowing cooling things down a little. We walked out on one of the little piers they have along the foreshore here and saw the fantastic patterns on the beach from little crabs. They dig holes in the sand and the sand that is expelled comes out in tiny little balls. The patterns were all up the beach and it really did look pretty. Just as we got back to the car, down came the rain. We joked that the family brought the rain because we are in drought here. Unfortunately when they left, they took the rain with them and we are back to dry sunny skies. Was a wonderful 24hrs we had with them and really brightened our festive season. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year and hope 2017 is a fabulous year for you all.

These are a couple of my cards that are now on special till 31st Dec. My whole store is on special so please take a look.

Our Christmas Visitor by Janyce Cotterill

We have had a little visitor to stay over Christmas. A Bichon Frise by the name of Bailey. What a cute little dog, full of fun and mischief. He loved his Santa Toy that got thrown around the living room and chewed to bits several times over. By the time this is in the mailer he will be back with his owners, I will miss him following me everywhere around the house! What a cutie! Getting onto designs - I was asked by a crafter for some insert plaques for my Sometimes.....range of designs. So I decided to do them for all the sheets. You might find them useful not only for the Sometimes.....sheets but for your other cards too. I have uploaded quite a number now and am working my way through the rest. Just put the word, sometimes, into my search box and the ones already done should come up. Thank you for your interest.I hope you all had a good Christmas and all the very best for 2017. May it be good year for all of us.

So Cute by Jan Mason

This made me laugh so much over Christmas. My son and daughter in law were visiting over Christmas with our 2 year old granddaughter, Frankie. Frankie was playing away and we were sat around talking about this and that. The talk got around to work and I asked my son when he was back at work, and if he had a pension set up? Out of the blue Frankie said No I dont got a pension, I got Cookie Monster. We all had a good laugh at that. It just goes to show, we might not think they are listening but........

Battle of the Puds! by Sue Way

Every year my son Tony & daughter-in-law Alex invite us for a brilliant day of festivities a couple of days after Christmas. They make us very welcome & really spoil us all. It is just our little family, including our daughter Kelly (CUP designer Kelly Barker) her hubby & the girls, together for the day & it is so lovely. A tradition of the day is the Battle of the Puds Where Alex makes her famous Chocolate Roulade & Tony surprises us with something different every year. This year it was Apple Crumble. Obviously we have to sample both desserts, which are served with either cream, custard & ice cream. Both are so delicious that it is impossible to pick a winner, although Tony did win his dad over by serving his favourite dessert lol Here they are in all there glory, can you pick a winner? This week I have added a quick to make New Year card & a beautiful Golden Anniversary card, complete with champagne & flowers. My SALE is on until the end of the year, so grab a bargain across my whole store! Please click on the follow button under my name on my shop front, so you never miss an update. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

MORE FROM ROMANIA by Wanda Lipski

As you know we went to take presents and school supplies to a very deprived village in the East of the country, but we started from the town where had our religious wedding. We returned to the church and to our immense joy the greco/catholic priest who blessing our marriage was there, erecting a huge tree in the church. He remembered us (well who wouldnt ... a frog and an Englishwoman getting married in Romania ... we even made national news) and gave us his blessing in exactly the same place as he did nearly 5 years ago. It was an emotional moment as you can image. And still on the religious theme, as organist in my church I get very upset as the authorities here in France try to ban nativity scenes in public places. In Romania they have no such problem and I was delighted to see this huge nativity scene in the town square of Oradea. You can get an idea of the size of the figures from the photographer in the foreground. So on a non religious theme ... A card I made for a little girl sick in hospital because I remember how much I loved those dress up doll books where you had to cut out the doll and all the clothes, so I made her a dress up doll card. It should keep her busy for a while and I hope you enjoy it too. As the date is the 30th, it just remains for me to wish you, Bonne Année 2017. Love Wanda
