SNOW! by Janice Shehan

I grew up in the Washington DC area, in Maryland; every winter we could count on some snow. It always made the holiday season seem more special, especially on Christmas Eve! Where I live now there is no snow ever, but I still enjoy designing with snow themes. We always made the traditional snowmen and snow angels on the ground and then came in for hot chocolate and marsh mellows, and hopefully some homemade cookies fresh from the oven. MMMMMMMM memories :)

Here a few cute activities, perhaps for a child to do while you are baking cookies...loved it when my children were little.

Another exhibition by Carol Dunne

A new art group started up in the church at the end of my road. I have belonged to another art group for 16 years but as it was so near to me I thought I should really join it. However, my original art group had an exhibition in October and I sold all my paintings so I had to produce some really quickly to put in this exhibition. I didnt sell my paintings but I did sell lots of cards and jewellery.

Here are two of my latest Z-Fold pop-ups. The Starships one has labels suitable for children as well as adults.

Weekend away by Kelly Barker

Last weekend our girls schools had teacher training days on the Friday and Monday, they did the same last year on the same weekend and it gave us the perfect opportunity to have a short break away before the Christmas craziness really kicks in. So this year we booked the same caravan park and went off to Great Yarmouth for the weekend. We had a great time, but the weekend flew by, it was also my birthday weekend so we had lots of meals out and a few too many treats. Heres the girls with Sid the Seagull! I have just updated my special offers, I have 12 fabulous rosette mini kits with 25% off. Please take a look.

Fun at the fair by Liz Harrison

In October we took our granddaughters to to Hull fair. Its one of the largest travelling fairs in Europe, with rides stalls and games . Ive been going since I was a little girl, we took our children, and now were taking our grandchildren. This year we videoed the girls on the rides . Now every time Skyla comes to visit , we have to play the video on a loop. As you can see she likes to stand and watch very closely . Its given us a break from cartoons though lol

Stormy skies... by Anne Lever

We here in Somerset, along with the rest of the country, have had a very stormy week. Lots of wind, lots of rain, no fun at all. But after one very heavy storm, we were treated to this wonderful double rainbow. It was the brightest and strongest I have ever seen, and lasted a long time. It almost looked like it was holding the rain back, as the sky was very dark grey above it, and much lighter underneath it!

Sunny Sunday Morning by Carol Clarke

It was beautiful sunny Sunday morning this week so my hubby and I grabbed our walking boots and headed off for a walk. We are lucky to be surrounded by such lovely countryside here with lots of walks from our front door and this photo was taken on Dog and Bear Lane which is at the side of Annesley Hall. It is rumored that Lord Byron visited the Hall in its hey day and its very possibly true because he lived at Newstead Abbey which is within walking distance too! lol Below are more of my On the Shelf Cards. Watch out for more Coming soon ... Just as soon as Ive drawn the characters! lol

Cross-fit Training Break by Diane Hannah

Hi everyone! Hope this community news finds all of you well and ready for the busy holiday season that is upon us. This is my sister Victoria. She is a cross-fit trainer, runner and all around good person. In this photo she is at the gym, taking a break from training to socialize and have a little party / cook-out with her fellow athletes. In addition to athletics she also volunteers with special needs adults near her home. She takes them on outings, brings them lunch, and helps them to participate in special Olympics bowling. I am so proud to call her my sister and my friend!

Parchment Craft by Sue Way

In the summer I told you how I am getting back into Parchment craft after a break of a few years. I am still learning, but find it very relaxing. I was doing it when away in my caravan, but now the caravan has been packed away for winter I have transferred all my tools back to my office. I try to do a little bit at the weekend, when hubby is in his man cave (shed) working on his hobby lino cutting. I followed the pattern to the letter for my latest piece and am very happy with how it came out. My next project is a Christmas one. Today I am showcases my latest designs, both of them are on special offer with 25% off. The Fairy will also be available as a mini kit. Thank you to everyone who follows me. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

Storm Troopers by Tina Fitch

Well heres me with a stormtrooper in Hollywood studios.. The march of the first order was performed on the hour every hour and yes I had to watch everyone! I just couldnt help myself, it was mesmerising .. 12 Troopers and Captain Phasma marched up the road and performed their show and marched back again.. On getting to the stage Captain Phasma ordered them to be fearless! so they all came towards to crowd and AS a I was in the front row I couldnt resist a selfie as they came right up to me.. and the others in the crowd of course.. I just loved it so much so I have something to show you.. But that will save for next weeks news...All my designs are in all formats for all machines... My 20% Sale will start on the 27th November for 4 days so you can stock up on the designs you dont yet own... Thank you for your continued support..
