Look at me Nana!! by Carol Clarke

We went to Clumber Park again for our Cuddle and Giggle Day again this week. 19 month old Austin loved playing in the woodland play area. His favourite thing to do is to run up the ramp with a big smile on his fence. Giggling and chuckling he launches himself off the end for me to catch him. This game has to be played multiple times with me having a lovely cuddle every time too! lolBelow are 2 of my NEWEST On the Shelf Cards. Watch out for more Coming soon ... Just as soon as Ive drawn the characters! lol

Battlesbridge by Tina Fitch

Well that was the last by one show of the year for me...The classic car show at Battlesbridge.. The day started early with a down pour of rain after I had spent 4 hours cleaning on Saturday... Got up Sunday it was dry but by the time we were ready to leave the heavens opened for 30 minuets .. So My cleaning bucket was filled with nice hot water sealed and put in the boot os when I got to the show I could then clean her down so she sparkled again....11 of us parked up for the show...No trophies this week though.. Now its time to clean her up and put her away for the winter months, She used to be a daily runner but not anymore, She will be sorn from the road till next May at least.New wheels are needed and a new colour wrap too.. Not sure what colour but I have a good idea just finding it.But I will keep you all updated..New designs added again this week... Type 1 Diabetes by Joanna Swinton

Last Sunday my daughter and family went on a sponsered walk to raise money for JDRF, the juniors arm of Diabeties UK. They had a great time. My Granddaughter got diabeties when she was 4 years old. She is 6 now and she went onto the stage before the sponsered walk. She held the letter J and was to say I am Isabella and I am 6. I am what Diabetes Type 1 looks like. When she got up there she became very shy and my daughter has to say it to her. The picture shows Bella with her medal for compleating the alk. Afterwards they went to Thomes Land.JDRF Celebrates Historic Artificial Pancreas Success Bringing Life-changing Benefits to People with Type 1 Diabetes. If you Google this title you can see the full article. They have had a green light to use an artificial pancreas system. Sufferes that have one of these will have much more peace of mind with the control of diabeties. They are still working toward looking for better and better systems. Thumbs up JDRF!!!!

Thought Id highlight tow of my newest design cards. They are very easy to make

Millie at the dog show by Patricia Platt

Last Saturday there was a dog show and fun day at our local park. We took Millie for a day out. I have never seen so many dogs in one place before and who were having fun. No fights, just happy barking and tail wags. It was really lovely. Millie never stopped smiling the whole time we were there. She had a go at flyball, twice! Then she had a go at the agility course too. Then she did the hurdles at 6 seconds. She helped me with my pork roast sandwich and a few chips. She also got a new harness that hopefully she cant escape when she gets a fright. Overall, it was a great day out for her and for us too.

These are just two of my latest Christmas designs, please have a look at my page for some more. Thanks!

Parchment Craft by Sue Way

While away in our caravan this summer, I thought I would use my down time to get back into parching. I havent done it for a few years & am still learning, but find it very relaxing. I found an old copy of a parchment magazine with lots of patterns in & decided to do a coloured one. I really enjoyed working on this, it just needs to be mounted on a card. Its still a bit messy and I need to practice my cutting out, but I have been watching tutorials online.. I managed to buy some back copies of the same magazine, so have many patterns to choose from and cant wait to start on my next project. So watch this space :D This week I have started uploading a new series called Christmas Girls including the two shown below. Please click follow next to my name so you never miss my updates and thank you to everyone who follows me. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

ONION GLASSES by Janice Shehan

I purchased some glasses designed for wearing while chopping onions. They keep out the oils from the onions that irritate eyes. I mailed a pair to my wonderful daughter. Well as predicted, Kelly thought they were ridiculous - UNTIL she tried them. She sent me this photo before she tried them and called me later to tell me Thank you.

Brmmm Brmm by Clive Couter

There was a yearly event of classic vintage car exhibition along the seafront at Ryde Isle of Wight where I live last weekend.. I dont even drive but some of those vintage cars (no ALL of them!) are magnificent.. no comparison to the boxes that we now have that may be oh so practical but without aesthetic beauty for the most part.. Bring back running boards on cars says me..

What a cutie! Ill fill you in with a few more details next time! Im leaving you with a couple of my latest Sometimes..... Christmas designs. I hope you like them. Thank you for your interest.

Bye Bye Georgia by Vicki Avcin

We have been babysitting our granddaughter, Zoes kitty for the past few months as the unit they were staying in said they had to get rid of her. So little Georgia came to visit till they could move to somewhere else they could keep her. Shes been such a good little girl and got up to some antics, the latest being pinching the bread when hubby has been mixing up the bird slop that we feed the Lorikeets, Corellas and other birds in the afternoons. She took to sleeping on our bed at nights and would lie at the end of the bed watching the TV. Very much an indoor cat, she loved to sit at a window and watch the geckos on the outside ceilings and windows after dark. She didnt want to chase them, although maybe in her mind she wouldve like to, but she hated being outside. When the family came to pick her up I think she wanted to stay, as she went and hid. She is settling in back at home now and Ive told Zoe if they need a place for her again, that she has to promise to bring her back. We do miss her, she is such a beautiful gentle little girl.

Time to get fit! by Anne Lever

I have recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Although a massive shock, it has given me the wake up call I need. I am now endeavouring to get as fit as I can, and hopefully get my numbers into a healthy range. I have lost 11 pounds since my diagnosis, I go swimming once a week and I have invested in a cheap exercise bike. I am now fully motivated and hopefully will see improvements soon. :-) Today is the last day of my END OF THE MONTH 20% off sale. It ends at midnight tonight. Take advantage and empty those wishlists!

Sett Valley Trail by Carol Dunne

The art group I belong to decided to have a change, so instead of staying in to paint last Wednesday morning we went out in the fresh air to sketch and paint. We live in Stockport Cheshire but we are not that far away from the High Peak , which is the first National Park in England. The town we visited - New Mills is only 8 miles (13km) from here so it didnt take us long. It is built where the River Goyt and River Sett meet. There are beautiful walks along the rivers known as the Sett Valley Trail. Not only is the scenery beautiful but the area is also jam packed with history. The first industry here was coal but then cotton mills were built. My photo shows the remnants of one of the cotton mills and also a very interesting double layered bridge. The cotton mills were powered by the fast flowing rivers. These days (2007) a new reverse action Archimedes screw was built in the river which now provides the town with electricity. Nice to see natural resources are being used to provide energy. I could go on for ages here about this place but if you live anywhere near and not been, it really is worth a visit for both adults and children.

Always looking sharp! by Kelly Barker

My eldest daughter Jessica learns the keyboard at school and at the weekend grandad said that he might open up his shed so she could go and practice as thats where he keeps his keyboard. He decided not too as he didnt want to start an argument as he knew Imogen my 5 year old would probably take over and make Jess cross. Jessica got involed in doing something else and Imogen who had obviously been listening asked grandad to open his shed so she could play the keyboard...little tinker! She loved being out there making music, but was desperate for us to come and watch, Im glad I did as I got this snap of her looking super cool as alway! Here is my newest Christmas bauble design and a gorgeous Princess Belle Christmas kit. Thanks for looking.

Yorkshire Coast by Janet Roberts

A couple of weeks ago we went to the Yorkshire coast for a few days. It was our puppy Millies second holiday to the seaside and she loved it. The weather was very warm and Millie had so much fun chasing her ball into the sea. The water was so calm and she let the waves lap over the top of her head at times. It was lovely to see her having so much fun and we cant wait to take her back again next Summer
