Stephanie, my 13 year old granddaughter, decided she didnt want any publicity on a recent holiday to Ingoldmells. This became a new beach game .... who can get a photo of Stephanie!! But no matter how they tried my daughter, son in law, eldest granddaughter Georgina and her boyfriend David failed to get photo of Stephanie on the beach. This was the best they got! lolBelow are more of my On the Shelf Cards. Watch out for more Coming soon ... Just as soon as Ive drawn the characters! lol

Madame Tussauds by Tina Fitch

The girls used their Merlin passes again this week after their trip to the Theatre to see Charlie and the Chocolate factory which they thoroughly enjoyed. Once that was done off the went to Madame Tussards to see the famous people.. And what should they come across? Princess Diana.. It was 19 years since she passed on the 31st August 2016 and not a day goes by when I dont think of her.. The twins know the love I had for Diana, I have lots of things in my house dedicated to the lovely Princess...But it wasnt about me it was what they wanted to see and Princess Diana was one of the models they really wanted to see due to me telling them about the great love story of all time, and how the fairytale didnt have a Happy ending... They also saw James Bond 007 of which they love too... Funny how so young can love the films of the older generations..They had a lovely time there , they also visited the London Eye once again too but I will leave that story for another day. Thanks for your continued support.. All my designs are in all file formats.. http://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

African Adventure! by Sue Way

We have just returned from a lovely holiday away in out touring caravan. We stayed in one of out favorite sties near Sizewell Beach in beautiful Suffolk. We have started to follow some of the footpaths around the site that also go around the perimeter of Sizewell Hall. The Hall was once a manor house but is now a Christian conference centre. It is a fascinating place and as we walk around it we spot follies, tunnels, balconies overlooking the sea & private steps to the beach. On one of our walks we came across these mud huts. So when we got back to the caravan I did a bit of investigating to find out what they were. I found out that a replica of an African village had been built as an educational and cultural place to give children the chance to learn about life in rural Africa and it was called The African Adventure. Although they slept at the hall, they spent one night in huts to get the full experience. I have included a picture of what the village looked like when it was built & what it looks like now. The article I read was written in 2009, so looking at the state of the huts the project obviously didnt last very long. I love finding out things like this that are right under our noses and hope to uncover more on out little trips in the future. I have put lots of my Christmas designs on special offer this week, including the two shown below. Please click follow next to my name so you never miss my updates and thank you to everyone who follows me. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

My little helper by Robyn Cockburn

Heres Lucy - hasnt she grown? She is my shadow and helps me with the computer as well as outside in the garden. Considering the loud fuss some of the birds make when she walks outside, I dont think she is very popular with them! Sometimes I have to chase them when they start dive-bombing her. We were pleased to discover some new flowers the other day - my iris is flowering and so is a new daisy. You will find these featured in some of my new Mini Kits. I hope you like them.

Pets by Patricia Platt

Anyone who has had pets will know the heart ache that comes along with loosing them. It is still very painful after the loss of my little dog Roxie two years ago. And about 3 weeks ago I lost little Popcorn. Death of a pet is never ever easy. :( And recently a friend has lost his beloved Bassett hound. It is never easy, but is a part of life. After the loss of my little dog I got another one as it was a tribute to her to save another life. And now we have little Millie who is such a big part of our life now. I will probably get another little rescue hedgehog to look after sometime soon too.

After loosing my own pets, I thought it would be nice to do some designs for folks to send out to others who loose their beloved fur babies. Thanks. xxx

Houseboat trip on the Erie Canal by Judith Henry

We are home now from our vacation on the Erie Canal. We played the part of a floating B & B for our friends who were bicycling the Erie trails. The were old college friends that we get together with every 3-4 years. The houseboat went 5 MPH. SLOW. The bikers went 15 MPH. We never won the race. Breakfast on the boat was an enjoyable time since the mornings were cool. The afternoons, however, were in the upper 80s. Seeing our friends was the highlight of the trip.

Happy Birthday Freddie! by Sarah Edwards

It was an exciting day for us last week as Freddie, our shih tzu / jack russell turned three! Weve had him since he was nine weeks old and he is such a little rascal but we wouldnt change a thing about him. The top left photo is from the first time we met him when he was five weeks old and the other two are recent pics. Look how much his colouring changed on this face as he got older! We also have a black and white shih tzu called Socks who will be three in about two months.

Town show and fire station open day by Kelly Barker

Over the bank holiday weekend it was our town show, dog show, boot sale on the prom and fire station open day. We had a lovely walk around and we took our 11 year old golden retriever Baxter with us. He was very happy as he got to meet all the dogs getting ready for the dog show. It does make me laugh as they were all beautifully groomed and as Baxter wasnt entered he looked like an ungroomed hippy ha ha. He also got to meet a 10 month old golden retriever who was very vocal and beautiful. My girls favourite bit of the day was getting to sit in a police car and put the flashing lights on and also climbing on an American fire truck. It was another lovely day in our little town This week I have lots of new baby, baby shower and babys first Christmas designs on offer. Thanks for looking.

A Maizing by Carol Dunne

My grandchildren came for an overnight stay while my daughter was busy so we took them out for the day to Applejacks Adventure Farm. Lots of fun things for them to do. We watched the piggies racing which was great fun. They went on a bouncy pillow which was as big as my garden. The maize field was turned into a maze, where we were given a very big flag when we entered, the purpose of this was to find us if we got lost, you waved it above the plants so they could see where we where. As we went around the maze we collected pieces of a map which we stuck down to complete a part printed map. However, we managed to find all the map pieces and got out safely. A very good day, most enjoyable.

Wells Cathedral by Anne Lever

The school summer holidays are almost over, so me and the kids went for a last day out. It was quite local to us, but needed a bus journey. We went to Wells, a gorgeous historic city in Somerset. We saw the magnificent cathedral, which takes my breath away every time i see it. It is pretty amazing inside too. There is the bishops palace, with its moat, and yesterday there were two swans and eight signets swimming on it, a lovely sight.
