Belsay Flowers by Janyce Cotterill

Last week I showed you a few pictures of my visit to Belsay Hall, Castle & Gardens in Northumberland. I said I would bring you a few flowers from their beautiful gardens - and there they are. The colours are quite splendid. Flowers - natures jewels. How lucky are we!Fitting in with the theme of flowers I am leaving you with a couple of my floral designs. Both are on special offer. Thank you for your interest.

My Nephews Wedding by Mary MacBean

Last weekend my daughter and I went to my nephews wedding in Aberdeen. Everything from start to finish was perfectly planned. The venue was superb, the ceremony was beautiful and the bridal party looked amazing. We had live music throughout the day starting with a string quartet at the ceremony. During the excellent meal, there was a hugely entertaining performance by a company called Secret Opera Singers, posing as hotel staff. In the evening the band played everything from Scottish dance music to pop music from the 50s onwards. It was wonderful to get together with my family for such a happy occasion. It was a special day well all remember for a long time.

A long weekend in Southwold by Lesley Earing

My Son booked us a four bed roomed house in Southwold Suffolk for our early yearly family get together. My grandson Isaac aged 2 keeps referring to the house as nannys holiday home ( I wish ). We had a great time even though the weather was not that good.. The highlight of the weekend was a lovely meal one evening in a restaurant on the pier. The food was lovely and to watch the waves crashing on the shore was lovely. Lots of putting, slot machines cups of tea were had by all. Will definitely go back there.

Rhine Cruise by Robyn Cockburn

We had a very enjoyable time on our Rhine cruise. Such beautiful scenery - castles, wine growing regions, flowers, beautiful cities. And not to mention being spoiled with fabulous food and wine on board our ship (shame about the waistline)! They took us to the Alsace region to taste wines and to an amazing concert in the Rastatt Palace. We also explored a number of castles and of course, did walking tours of various cities.

Babies by Tina Fitch

Oh the baby rabbits are out! On our weekly visit out this week there they all were! 5 in total but you can only see 4 of them in this photo the other one was hiding in the grass... Its breeding time you can tell that wherever you look ! The grass was smothered with tiny rabbits eating at their leisure.Wont be long before they are all fully grown and making a home and family for themselves. The loud F15s didnt bother them at all. they just carried on even though the aircraft was very low coming in to land, that was the same really when the lambing season was here, the baby lambs just moved over when the planes came into land. quite funny really to watch. All my designs are in all file formats for you.. I do add new designs daily so why not click the follow me icon in my shop front so you can keep up with all my new designs.. http://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

Little Artist!! by Carol Clarke

4 year old Olivia had a drawing board as one of her birthday presents and this week she sat happily drawing on it. I asked what she was drawing ... only to be told ... to be quiet as I was distracting her!! I couldnt help but laugh .... but as you can imagine I was amazed she even knew the word distracting let alone that she knew what it meant! lol Sh then went on to amaze me again with her beautiful drawing of a caterpillar .... I can see there will be another CUP designer in the family sometime soon! lolBelow are 2 of my NEWEST On the Shelf Cards. Watch out for more Coming soon ... Just as soon as Ive drawn the characters! lol

Lots of Cygnets by Joanna Swinton

Every year the pair of swans on Banner Gate Lake in Sutton Park, Birmingham produce cygnets. Mum and Dad are very protective towards them attacking anything that gets too close. Last year they had 5 babies but lost one. The year before they had 4. This year, however, they have a massive 8. I do hope they all make it as that is a lot for two swans to rear. This week they brought them out for us all to see. 8 little bundles of fluff. They are soooooo cuuttteee. They would fit into my hand. As time passes the cygnets grow very fast till they are as big as their parents. After a while they start to change their feathers to beautiful white ones. About this time daddy swan starts bullying them untill they leave. I dont understand Mother Nature. They take a short flight to the next lake at Windley Gate.

Beautiful Stitchy Day by Anne Lever

It was a beautiful sunny day here in Somerset yesterday, and after doing my chores, watering the garden and finishing my designing for the day, I took the opportunity to sit outside in my peaceful garden and do some cross stitching. The lovely lady I am stitching is called Dahlia by the artist Hannah Lynn. She is being stitched on 25 count evenweave ( that is 25 stitches per inch). She is very colourful, and I love stitching bright colours.

Growing up by Joan King

This is a photo of my two grand daughters who live in Colchester, UK. I dont see them at all now just photos to see them growing up so fast. The one on the left is Evelyn who is 7 years old and much bigger than her sister on the right Caitlyn who is now 10 years old. As it is mid term break in the UK they had a day trip to London with some friends and visited the British Museum. As usual they had heaps of fun. Shame I miss out on it all.

Weve had a lot of rain in Cardiff this year so yesterday we took advantage of a lovely warm and dry day and went for a stroll around Roath Park. The swans, ducks and other wildlife were obviously doing the same. We managed to get a lovely photo of this beautiful swan. Two of my latest minikits, both of which are on special offer at the moment and thank you for taking a look
