Just passing through! by Tina Fitch

Low approach is the way to go this week!Nice and low on approach to runway then give it some beans wheels up and off again..I just love the way they do it... I must be mad to stand for hours just watching LOLThe noise is unbelievable when they do this, in fact the ground vibrates hahhaha and whilst they are doing all this showing off the traffic gets worse as it slows down to watch..https://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

Colours of Autumn by Janice McFarlane

I think over a number of years the seasons have somewhat blended into one another. I dont think we can definitely say which season is which. I think even the various animals and birds are confused, but, one thing is obvious we always know autumn by the beautiful colours. I personally like spring as my first choice. I feel able to breathe in new life as things start to bud. However, I do like the intensity of the wonderful paint pallet of colours that only autumn can produce. My daughter took this picture of the tree which is on the street where she lives at RAF Benson. She was amazed at the natural beauty of the hues all in complete harmony. She sent the picture to and I thought the same. With all the other rubbish that is going on in the world, at least the beauty of nature is unchanging

Its ..... by Carol Clarke

... the time of year here in England for seeing fungi! The king of the fungi for me though is the lovely bright red Fly Agaric!! Often depicted in fairy tales with elves of fairies making them their home these gorgeous bright red fungi can be found in woods and forests. They can vary enormously in size from a couple of inches across to about the size of a dinner plate!! I love seeing them though and really they make me smile when I spot them!! Below are two of my Christmas Santa Kits ... There are lots more to choose from too! lol

Another Car Show by Vicki Avcin

Last Sunday we spent the day down by the water, where the marina had millions of dollars of boats moored up. What a site and one could only dream of owning even one of the smaller vessels. Meanwhile on land at Harrigans Pub, there was around 700 cars, utes, bikes, kit cars and one vehicle that could loosely be called a truck called Frankenjuice which had a twin V8 dragster on its back deck. There were cars of every shape and size and if one tried to put a blanket value on all of them there would have been a couple of million dollars of machines there. Our son had his Shelby Mustang entered and it drew a lot of attention. People were coming all day and wanting to know about it, a few thousand photos taken of it. It was very popular. The weather was supposed to be for rain but apart from a couple of fleeting spits it turned out to be a lovely day, so much so that we all got sunburnt! It really was a fabulous day.

Afterlife wins again! by Sue Way

Many of you will know that my son is the actor Tony Way. One of his many roles over the years is Lenny in the hit comedy series After Life, written by the brilliant Ricky Gervais. Last year I proudly told you about After Life winning the award for best comedy at the National Television Awards. Well, this year they were once again nominated and they won!!!! Thank you to anyone that voted and If you missed the show you can check it out on NETFLIX. Hubby and I were cheering in our living room as they went up to collect the award. Tony is the one on the left.
