Family reunion 2022 by Judith Henry

It has taken 3 tries during Covid to get our family reunion scheduled. It was a great time to see the younger generation together to play, ride horses, swim, ride dune buggies and go to the farm. There was around 40 cousins together. Normally we get together every 3 years. This was 6 years. For my family it was 9 since we missed the last one. It was the first reunion for my youngest granddaughter. Special memories.

Im now designing cardmaking along with cutting file cards.

Sushi by Vicki Avcin

My treat after shopping most weeks is to call into the Sushi shop and treat myself to sushi or a couple of spring rolls. Now our furbaby isnt allowed on the table but likes to sit on my chair at the end of the table. A couple of weeks ago I brought a tray of chicken and avo sushi rolls with mayo drizzled over the top of them. Well as much as I was looking forward to getting into them for lunch, the cat thought that they might be a tasty treat also. I finished putting the shopping away and came out to find her on the table and eyeing off my lunch! She got scolded and got off the table, giving me poor starving me eyes. Well I went and enjoyed my lunch and couldnt resist giving her a couple of pieces of chicken but in her food bowl. Nice try Meow (her nickname) but I win!!

My designs today are designed to be used for Weddings.

Fall colors by Judith Henry

The Mississippi region will soon be blazing with color. We spent the weekend in Spring Geeb Wisconsin, a favorite. Early fall destination for many special venues. Our main reason for the yearly migration is the American theatre and our favorite B & B. The butterfly garden was in bloom, the chicken provide wonderful breakfast treats and the wildlife could be heard but not seen. A restful week end getaway.

Its ..... by Carol Clarke

... been a very sad time here in the United Kingdom since Our Monarch, Queen Elizabeth the Second died. For many of us shes been the only Monarch weve known and. for instance, Singing the National Anthem and adding the title King instead of Queen is going to take some getting used to! The Union Flag has been flown at half mask and many shops etc closed and all with tributes to our Queen prominently displayed. The pall bearer in my collage photo is of a young soldier who comes from the next village to ours! It made watching the funeral on TV and seeing this local lad a very moving experience.

Good Day for a Sunset by Janice McFarlane

I dont often get to capture beautiful skies, but when the opportunity arises Im there with my phone. This time I just happened to walk out of the living room on my way to the bathroom and glanced toward my bedroom at the front of my bungalow. The sunset looked as though there had been a mass explosion. So, forgetting the bathroom I dashed back to the living room to grab my phone. I managed to capture this incredible sunset. As the saying goes red sky at night…. Im expecting an incredibly sunny day the next day.

Stealth mode Activated! by Tina Fitch

F-35 lightning creating vapour after takeoff! They fly so fast you can actually see the vapour forming with the naked eye. You dont need a long lens to see itTuesday was a fun day quite a few launches but the best were from the lightnings. The just go its unreal how they just glide into the sky. But they knock out some serious noise when close to them. The ground vibrations are really cool too

Sizewell Beach by Sue Way

Another picture from our short break in Suffolk. As we were staying in the town of Leiston we visited the nearby beach of Sizewell every day with Billy and Sam. Its a lovely beach of shingle and sand dunes. You can walk to Thorpeness and Aldbrough one way and the other way leads to Minsmere Nature Reserve. The beach is dominated by Sizewell B power station. Its an impressive site, but the threat of Sizewell C being built is a subject of controversy, especially among the local people. I hope we will still be able to enjoy the beach and that the wildlife will be safe. Only time will tell. Today is the last day of my SALE!!! With 20% off of ALL my designs!
