weve lived in our present house for 9 years, Ive had a bird table out the front for most of that time, lots of birds visit daily, but one of my favourite birds never visits, Ive tried its favourite food, fresh fruit, but no, they just fly over my house. But yesterday, to my amazement they decided to land on my bird table! I was so excited and happy!I managed to grab my camera and take some photos before they flew away. They came back today too, I hope they visit every day.Makes me very happy to see them and all the other birds that visit.

I have lots of card kits and some toppers with birds on them, pop by my shop anytime and have a look xxx

Summer Swims! by Sue Way

With the weather being so hot in the UK at the moment, it is so lovely to live 2 minutes from the beach. Even though its a seaside town, so gets very busy, if we pick our times right the boys can cool off with a dip in the sea. We try to go early in the morning before the crowds get there and they have so much fun chasing stones and swimming, so that wears them out for a few hours. By the evening it has cooled down enough for a run around the park before bed.

Crazy week by Vicki Avcin

Its been a crazy week so TGIF! Started with son telling us he had the virus last week. So working out just when he was infectious till when he tested…… we were glad we hadnt seen him for more than 10 days. Seems friends and family dont test positive till 9 or 10 days till they test positive we figured we were ok. His son has now tested - again 9 days after his Dad (being that he is shared custody) so again timeline fitted. Then last weekend I was doing the final sanding on the plaster in some of the rooms we are renovating when I happened to catch my index finger on the edge of the spinning disc and ripped a huge chunk out of the finger. Today is the first day I can actually type using that finger, in fact doing anything at all with it. Ive also been battling trying to set up new computer and have now got Windows 10 instead of my trusty old Windows 7. Trying to find files, unzip files and getting dll files in the right place so my graphic programs can run my plugin/filters has been a challenge. Still havent got them working so not been able to do any graphics other than using the basic program is not fun. Got to love technology. Ive been holding off getting another computer for months but as the whole computer was just shutting down a couple of times a day was driving me batty so had to give up and get a new one. So hopefully will be back into designing again soon. Then although weve not had any rain, weve been getting these huge pea-souper fogs each day where we dont see the sun till round 9 or 10am each morning. Its unreal not even being able to see the houses across the road. Although we had fogs when we were in Hervey Bay they were never as thick and long as what weve had this week. Even at 10.30 at night the fog has been so thick as to not see the stars. So interesting/crazy week lets hope next week is more normal!

Family reunion 2022 by Judith Henry

This is the third year my family reunion. We had over 30 people at the reunion. My aunt, 92, was the first generation that organize the first reunion. There are now 4 generations. It was wonderful to see all the little ones. The picture is a sunset on Lake Michigan of a silhouette of myth granddaughters and their dad.

... not very often nowadays that we manage to get all our children and grandchildren together at the same time! They are scattered around the country and lead very busy lives, plus our eldest son is more often out of the country working for a few weeks at a time, as far away as Australia, South Africa or The West Coast of America, plus a few nearer places like Norway, France or Hong Kong etc! Soooo it made it all the better that we could grab the opportunity to have a family meal out together this week. I just hope it wont be years before were able to do it again!

Bee-utiful Lavender by Janice McFarlane

My husband and I have been in our retirement bungalow since they were built. As part of the aesthetics raised flower beds were put aliens the front of all the bungalow with various shrubs and plants. In ours we have two lavender bushes at either end of the planter. It has been lovely over the last 5 years watching the lavender bloom. One of our neighbours has been taking care of all the planters, so each year he a cut back the lavender at the end of the season, and each year we have watched the huge explosion as the lavender has bloomed. It has formed almost a perfect domed shape and the fragrance walking past fills the air. The lavender has been a particular source for a colony of bees, with dozens each day working non stop collecting pollen. I often just go out to watch them as they gently land on the individual stems. As bees are considered endangered its been great encouragement to see them each year returning to gather their wares.

New Heritage Jet by Tina Fitch

Here she is the new F-15e heritage jet for the USAF 70th Anniversary The 494th Fighter Squadron Jet was chosen Its just stunning ! painted with the Statue of Liberty and all in US patriotic colours! I caught it at RiAT Fairford at the air show Was really quite a surprise to see something so patriotic! Its done with precision and so beautiful.I know Im biased I cant help it , Im hoping to get up close and personal with it in the very near future

Ducklings! by Amanda Assenbruck

We have 4 pair of wild ducks living here now. We were quite surprised the other day to see that one set had babies with them. They are quite protective of them so it is hard to get a good picture. I thought i counted 13 my husband said 15 but either way a pretty good clutch. My grandchildren will think they are great if they happen to be around the yard when they come over.
