Peekaboo by Janice McFarlane

My cat Bailey loves to play. Being a house cat playing with various toys gives him stimulation and exercise. His most favourite toy is a fishing rod with feathers on the end. I hold it and move it about and he chases after it, jumping up in the air doing somersaults. Needless to say eventually the feathers disappeared and I had to try and get him another one. This particular type of rod isnt sold on its own only in a cat toy bundle, so I had to purchase another bundle just to get the rod. In this bundle was a nylon tunnel with hanging pompous at one end. I didnt think he would play with it but put it up anyway. Well, he proved me wrong. He loves it, particularly when he had his evening zoomed; carving round the bungalow at 100mph he includes his tunnel in this. He also like to play peekaboo in it and I just managed to take the photo whilst he was doing this. He has so many toys scattered around its like clearing up after a toddler at the end of the day.

Ive been so busy with my Granddaughters and working that I havent really had much time to do any designing. So I had started a couple of Easter cards but then got so busy forgot about them until today. Better late then never I guess. And life is just going to get busier for me. My Stepdaughter had a baby girl in November who I take alot while she works and my daughter is going to be having her baby girl in May. Its the season of girls! Did I mention Im a photographer too? Thats my passion. Right now I dont have a camera so ive been having to make do with my phone camera, but they havent turned out that bad.

Here are a couple of my older designs but still wonderful to download now and have on hand for next Easter!

Looking forward to spring by Judith Henry

Just went through pictures from pass travels. We are not yet into long trips but week end excursions will start soon with warmer weather. This picture is from a cave excursion in the Mississippi area last fall. Might be a good place to take the grandkids. Looking for other similar places. Its so much fun to find new inspiration for cards and other projects.

Mothers Day is coming soon. These are sure to honor that special person.

Cyclone Fila by Joan King

We recently had Cyclone Fila go through where we live by the sea. Fortunately the damage was small but it left us with an amazing evening sky. This was taken outside in our back garden. I have just completed two new designs this week which are floral bracket style cards with decoupage, greetings, and matching envelope. Hope you like them. Happy crafting

We packed in sooo many touristy things into those few days that I dont think my feet even touched the ground! lol From the Tower of London luckily they let us out again - Phew!!) On the London Eye, Sea Life, Natural History Museum, Science Museum etc, etc, etc, and even going to see the musical Wicked! I sooo needed a holiday to recover when I got back! ... But ... we must be gluttons for punishment because were busy planning for our next mini whirlwind get away now! lol Below are two of my Carousel Scene Card Kits ... There are lots more to choose from too! lol

Daisys 2nd Birthday! by Sue Way

Our youngest granddaughter turned two a couple of weeks ago. She was born on the first weekend of lockdown so it was a very scary time. Over the last 2 years, we had to make do with visits whenever the rules allowed or we did video calls with her as she got a little older so that she knows who we are. The first thing she says on a video call is where are the dogs lol So for her birthday her mummy and daddy made a special birthday party for the family. With lovely party food, including jelly and ice cream... I had two bowls! She loves all animals and her favourite colour is green, so her mummy made her this brilliant Birthday cake.

Welcome to the Family Pearl by Vicki Avcin

Was a big day on Thursday as we took possession of our new car. After a stressful day on Tuesday when the vehicle came up for Auction and going through the auction process hoping to win Lot 12 the hammer fell in our favour. We had seen all the photos and read the description and everything pointed to it being a white car, when we took delivery of it yesterday we were pleasantly surprised to see that it was actually a lovely iridescent white pearl. We hadnt seen it at all because the auction process was online and a live simulcast of the auction. We could see and hear the auctioneer and it was a case of just hitting a button to bid. The increments that the bids go up are set by the auctioneer and all we had to do was bid and counter bid other bidders. It was all over in less than a minute….. they sure dont muck around! We have only ever named one other car weve owned and that was a Black Fairlaine called Black Betty. But this car just screamed at us to give her a name and the obvious choice was Pearl. So Pearl is a Nissan X-Trail and has got all the bells and whistles which will take us not so technological minded people a bit of time to get used to all the smart features in her. Today we are off to get some new seat covers and a dashmat. Already ordered the weather shields for the windows too. Going to have fun with her as she is a 4 WD so if and when we go exploring around the state it will mean we can go to places we previously wouldnt have been able to venture.
