Well here we have a little one and she is smiling for her lunch! well it looks like she is anyway hahaha..This female always has a face to pull, but only does it whist waiting for me to get the food out,, Once the food is flowing shes like a animal possessed I can tell you, I have know anything like it, They add as much food in their mouths as they can carry, not sure if that;s a normal thing.I have seen them take it and walk only a few yards and bury it , I spose they never now when the next meal will be..But I just love her smile which I get daily

What a Feeling by Janice McFarlane

Well it finally happened. Ive reached the big 60. Its strange because the day before at 59 I didnt have that feeling of age. 24 hours go by and wham! Im 60. I was talking to a friend the other day who said when she turned 60 last year she had the same kind of feeling. In my head Im in my twenties but my body says differently (sometimes I feel more like 90) . Its only a number really and it doesnt really matter. Im embracing it and nothing has changed. The day went by and it was just the same as usual, nothing different apart from that feeling I was now 60. Well onwards and upwards, and going to psyche myself up for the next 10 years of being 70 lol.

Wedding by Vicki Avcin

It was a lovely day for a wedding, Twos-day 22/02/2022 when my nephew married his long time partner and soulmate. The clouds were rolling in and we werent sure if the rain would hold off until the ceremony was over. At spot on 2pm the bride and groom said I do and the ceremony finished just after that with the blended family finally pronounced Husband and Wife. The grooms daughter was the grooms attendant with the brides daughters the bridesmaid/flower girls. On the brides arrival many of the bride and grooms nieces and nephews came down the aisle with bubble machines. The wedding was held in a lovely park and guests had chairs or blankets with cushions scattered around the rotunda. We were all guessing if the wedding would be boho or traditional but knowing the couple it was a mix of both. Before the wedding I was able to catch up with many many family that I havent seen for years but the biggest surprise was when we were talking with someone before the wedding and she said that it wouldve been 40 plus years since I saw her last. When her name was mentioned I was really racking my brain trying to place her. Wasnt until she said she was my bridesmaid at my first wedding in 1972 that it clicked who she was. Well wow!! I remember a teenage, spirited redhead that loved horses. She is my second cousin. As it turns out she was also the celebrant for the wedding that day! It was a wonderful day and the rain held off till about 10 mins after the ceremony, luckily only light misty rain which was welcome as although the park was beside the water there was not a breath of breeze and it was very hot and humid prior to the wedding, then during the ceremony a gentle breeze kicked in much to everyones relief.

My designs this week are my Card Hat cards which can be folded as a card and then add elastic and they become hats for the kids. Great for Birthday parties or kids dress ups. My sale is also on now!

... very, very wet ... and windy walk!! It was the school half term holiday this week and we were able to have our youngest grandchildren for the day. Unfortunately the weather wasnt playing fair so we took them to our house instead of taking them out somewhere. Eight year old Olivia loves going for a walk though and had brought her wellies. Six year old Austin doesnt like walking so he stayed home for some boy time with Grandad. I donned my wellies and off we set. Olivia really wanted to go into the woods and the forest so thats where we headed. Even though we got very wet and cold we still had a fabby time and she entertained me with her chatter the whole way though Little Oak Woods and Annesley Forest. She then had an Ice Cream Emergency!! Oddly enough I didnt have any in the freezer at home so we stopped at the local shops to get some. Our gum and ironbark trees are flowering away madly at the moment which the bees are loving so there is a lovely hum in the air. But it isnt the bees making all the noise! We usually have a few lorikeets around the place but this last week we have been over-run. They have come in from goodness know where to feast on the gum blossoms. The two in my photo were taking a bit of a break so i managed a few pics.

Branch Managers! by Sue Way

We take Billy and Sam to a little field near us for their afternoon run about. The other day there were a few big branches that had come from the trees in the storm. The boys thought this was great and had fun playing tug with one of them. I think little Sam wanted to bring it home with him, but it was a bit heavy to carry.My end of month SALE starts today!
