A lovely family Christmas. by Sue Way

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Ours was pretty quiet, but we were so happy to be able to see all three of our grandaughters together for the first time. We all drove to our sons new house on Boxing day and spent a lovely couple of hours with them. We were a bit worried about how excitable the dogs would be, as they arent used to visiting, but they were pretty good and they were so good in the car on the long journey. In fact puppy, Sam curled up and slept all the way home. Its the last day of my SALE with 20% off all my designs until midnight (GMT) 31st December.

Christmas amaryllis by Judith Henry

Ive had several different colored amaryllis plant over the year but never a white with pink edging. They are to fun to watch open. This beautiful bud greeted me this morning. I gave it a little water and watched it bloom all day. There will eventually be fore flowers. It appears they should bloom every two days.

A Wee Bit Nippy by Janice McFarlane

My cat Bailey loves to play, he has various cat toys one being a bunch of feathers on the end of a rod which flutter about when the rod is moved. He jumped s and pounces and has great fun. He also likes the jingle balls to chase the the toy mice and fish which when new had cat nip in them although not heavily scented the scent soon wore off and Bailey lost interest in most of them. So I bought a natural cat nip spray to spray his toys with. Having never used anything like it before and wanted to encourage him to play with his toys for exercise I lightly sprayed the toys in his toy box. All of a sudden he came charging at the box like a maniac, dived in and rolled around flipping the box upside down and scattering the toys everywhere. Id never see him like this, it was like he was having a kind of psychedelic trip. He is a relaxed cat anyway by being a Ragdoll breed, but this took chilled out to a whole new level. It was very amusing watching him and after half hour or so he had completely exhausted himself and went for a well deserved nap.

Merry Christmas......... by Vicki Avcin

To our son Brad. What a way to end the year for him. After a myriad of personal issues through the year, he was in Tasmania to attend a wedding and have a bit of a holiday when he got a phone call to say hed won two Mustangs in a lottery. Classics for a Cause raises money for Veterans by raffling off various classic cars. Brad had brought tickets earlier in the year for an Elanora but obviously didnt win but he continued to buy tickets as a VIP (buy tickets in each lottery) when this time his number came up. A 1968 Shelby and a 2018 Mustang were his. He was shocked and thought someone was playing a joke on him with the phone call but soon realised it was no joke when they showed the winning ticket in a live draw video and he rang his Dad to tell him. Yep there on FB was the draw and ticket. Last Wednesday he and his Dad went into the warehouse and he was presented the keys. He is a Ford fanatic and you couldnt have wiped the smile off his face if one had tried. What a fantastic way to end the year! I would like to also thank everyone who purchased off me during 2021 and hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and wish everyone a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year.
