Im hoping he will bring his next lot of babies to see me early may. I should think he will still visit daily as he now knows food is available daily if he cant hunt anything down. The cubs are still coming too so I know they havent least one meal in the day with the weather getting colder now. Anyway thats all from me. Id like to wish all my customers a very Merry Christmas! I hope you all get spoilt! Thank you for continuing to support me by purchasing my designs. Lots more coming soon Take care and be Safe xx

... Misty Morning Walk! When I set off on my morning walk the mist, which according to the weather forecast should have already lifted!) was still hovering and making everything look hazy. So when I reached this path and looked back I was astounded to see that the sun was breaking though and everything look sooo magical! I just had to grab my phone and take a photo ... which, predictably enough, just didnt do justice to what I could see! Below are two of my Everlasting Calendar Bookmark Gift Sets ... There are lots more to choose from too! lol

Misty Sunday morning by Sue Way

Last Sunday was a bit of a foggy day. I took the dogs to the beach, but as the sea was very calm they went straight in. Sam was just paddling in the shallows and I was throwing stones for Billy so he was running in the sea and getting a good workout. He loved it as you can tell from his happy face. I took two very wet dogs home with me ....... AGAIN! lol Here are just two of my pinch bags, which are perfect for any last-minute Christmas gifts. They will hold jewelry, money, sweets or a gift card. They could even be used as a table place setting with a little surprise in. There are lots of designs to choose from.

The Festive Tree by Janyce Cotterill

I saw this festive tree when out walking the other day so thought Id share it with you all. It looked so pretty!I hope you are all managing to stay well wherever you are in the world. Dont forget if you are on your own over Christmas or have some time when you are not too busy the craftsuprint website is a great place to visit. Plenty onsite to keep you occupied, read some verses, comment on some of the lovely cards all the crafters put on, not to mention all the goodies you can buy and the crafting inspiration youll receive! I always find such an interesting website.Thank you to everyone who has bought/shown an interest in my designs or verses/poems over the past year. It is very much appreciated and finally....may I wish you all the very best for the festive season and may 2022 prove to be less stressful and a much happier and healthier year for everyone. Take care now. Ive been putting a few backing papers together made with more masculine designs in mind. I hope someone finds them to their liking. Ill leave you with a couple today. Thank you for looking and reading this little contribution to the cup mailer.

We have babies! by Vicki Avcin

We have two plovers that live in our backyard but they like to wander up to the road at times and will hang around under two trees at the front of the yard. Normally they are docile and will stay clear of humans although they will swoop and carry on if someone is walking up the road with a dog. Lately their aggression has been more frequent and we found out the reason, they have two babies. (Photo only shows one of them with a parent just outside our kitchen window about 4 days after it hatched.) They can have two clutches per year.Plovers or Masked Lapwing are native to all over Australia and often very misunderstood. They have a spur on each wing and despite some theorys, they are not poisonous and very rarely used to make contact with anyone. Their defensive mode is more screeching and swooping but they rarely make contact. They breed after heavy rain and will lay their eggs in an open area in an indent in the ground. Takes about a month for the eggs to hatch and the babies can feed themselves within a couple of hours of hatching. The babies cannot fly for about 6 weeks so the parents protect them during that time. Born as little balls of fluff, they grow quickly and ….well……. They really are very cute. They are protected and although they are protected people do destroy nests and remove eggs because they have a bad reputation yet weve had no problems with the pair here apart from the screeching noise they make. I remember as a kid going to high school, wed walk across a park and come across their nests out in the middle of nowhere basically.

I Come all Ye Faithful by Janice McFarlane

Last Sunday the church I belong to had an outdoor Carol service in our local community instead of having a Carol service in church like we normally would on the Sunday before Christmas. We gathered at the community centre to sing carols have the Christmas Bible readings and an extremely short address from our Pastor (which is a miracle in itself lol). We were joined by a few locals and also serenaded the queue at the pharmacy of people who had gathered for their Covid booster, which made it more bearable given the fact is was very cold, damp and foggy. Then it was back to church for a hot drink and homemade mince pies which were kindly donated by the local butcher. It was a lovely morning despite the cold and the first time we had done this and Im sure it wont be the last.
