Am I wrong to think he sat there smiling at me saying hello?This is exactly what I thought this week when Fox Dog came down for Lunch.. I was looking out the conservatory window and he just appeared staring at me, And that stare I knew it was dinner time..So I waited no more I got the food ready and went out into garden but firstly getting my camera ready so when they all came I was ready.He just sat there looking at me... I was smiling to myself as I picked up the camera expecting him to move back as he normally does, But he didnt! He sat and smiled and I could almost hear hi m saying hello.... I know he didnt but it sure looked like it..So I took a few shots then gave them all their dinner... They scoffed all that and off they went to probably have a little sleep..

Its beginning… by Janice McFarlane

…to look a lot like Christmas. Well it is in the Crawley household anyway. My daughter decided a new Christmas tree was needed after her old one gave up the ghost so to speak after last Christmas. She certainly wanted a one with built in lights to ease the stress of untangling lights and to make it easier to decorate. The boys always help to decorate the tree its a tradition. My daughter doesnt worry about the tree looking picture perfect, which is great for the boys. Their faces say it all and I think theyve done a great job.

Now that all the leaves are gone it amazes me the little things we miss because we just dont see them. This stump at first looked like a tree that had just been sawn off. That is until I got up close. The shelf fungus was amazing. I walked up to take a closer look and take this picture. Indeed it was an old stump. It just got hidden within nature.

... amazingly the weather forecasters got it totally wrong again last weekend! lol We were supposed to get a little sleet and light winds , whilst what we got was heavy snow and strong winds! The local children loved it though! We used to get very heavy snow here 30+ years ago, and be snowed in for ages! This time though we only got about an inch of snow and so once it had stopped and the sun came out again it just looked lovely and put me in the Christmas spirit! lol Below are 2 of my 3D Christmas Diorama Shadow Box Card Mini Kits .... theres lots more to choose from too! lol

... it was an icy cold and snowy walk to one of our local country parks recently! This park is very close to Newstead Abbey the home of Lord Byron the poet. Celebration Time by Vicki Avcin

Last Friday was our granddaughters 19th Birthday so we all went to celebrate at dinner with her. Was a great night at Feast Restaurant with a smorgasbord dinner. Its probably one of the best smorgasbords Ive been too with something for everyone no matter what your taste. From roasts, seafood, chinese, gluten free, to salads and not to mention the expansive desert bar. They had a great playground and kids room which little Axl preferred to eating! We had a mix of what was on offer but I couldnt resist going back and getting a second small pavlova (they were all small individual servings not pieces from a large one). Besides hubby any myself, Zoes boyfriend and her dad and partner and young brother plus other friends attended. Im loving being so close to family again and being able to help them celebrate birthdays. Will never make up for all the ones we missed but just to be close again is fantastic.

Christmas Photoshoot! by Sue Way

Last weekend when the family came to visit. they wanted to dress the dogs up for a Christmas photoshoot. Well trying to get a good picture with a very excitable 3 year old and a puppy isnt easy. There were a LOT of outtakes, but it was a lot of fun, even if we didnt get the perfect picture. As you can see in the end they were finding it all very funny. I think they were laughing at us lol
