New Beginnings . by Sharon Vieira

Hi friends , I just want to take some time to explain all the changes to my store . I had gotten rid of most of my resources and donated them to CUP so you can still get them there. I ridded those for personal reasons and now reflecting on it wonder if it was the best decision . I apologise to all designers and crafters if it has caused you any inconvenience. I also realize that changing my name so many times is confusing and frustrating as well . This is my name to stay and will be there no matter what , It is finalized! So for that confusion I also apologize . I also want to discuss many of my previous kits that are a large file . I couldnt figure out why they were closing that way and tried everything . I now have the latest version of photoshop and it is working beautifully and my files are closing a regular size that allows print and post , a good download with excelling quality without using alot of MG . For everyone who has downloaded my large files regardless I thank you so very much! And for everyone who didnt want to use up their MG di completely get it but all my latest files are good to go at regular kit mg . From this day forward I am not changing my name to that causes confusion and what is in my shop will stay there always and will not be donated any longer . I thank you all so much for all the support and love ! Stay safe and keep crafting and designing xo Sharon

Chainsaw by Vicki Avcin

Although I have my chainsaw ticket and have no problems using a normal size chainsaw, Ive been saying for years that I wish they made mini chainsaws with a battery so I dont have to worry about fuel and pull starting the big ones. Well my wish has been granted!!We had a brochure in the mail from the local rural supply shop and they had these cute little chainsaws advertised. So of course I told hubby that we HAD to have one, after all we have a heap of branches/timber down the back that needs cutting to length for the wood potbelly stove next winter. So I was told it could be my early Christmas present. So we purchased it, and I was dying to try it out but one problem, its been raining every day (most parts of SE and SW Qld have had record rainfall for 150 years for November) so apart from trying it on 3 or 4 lengths of timber that had been put in the shed and was therefore dry, I havent had a good go at using it yet. But for what Ive done with it I am rapt!!! So easy to use and cuts through the timber like hot knife through butter. Cant wait for some sunny days to get into this timber pile. Of course the big stump timber will need the big chainsaw but not complaining. Isnt this little tool just the cutest!!!!

Featured this week are two of my Floral and Page curl designs. Could be used for different occasions but shown is a 50th and a 40th Wedding Anniversary design. Different colours are also available.

Cold n Crafty by Janice McFarlane

Last Sunday was the first Christmas Craft Fair since lockdown. With all 44 stalls spread across 3 rooms at the venue. There was so much variety and stunning crafts. The room I was in was the same one from the summer fair, and whilst it was great in the summer to have the doors open, it was not so great for this one. For some reason the doors had to remain open so the heating couldnt be on. Needless to say it was extremely cold. It warmed up when customers filled the room, but in the quieter moments it was back to being extremely cold. At least the cold and snow didnt deter people from attending, and I did extremely well. Role on the Easter one I think.

Beautiful Fox by Tina Fitch

Just look at her! Shes beautiful I caught her nicely in the sunlight just coming down for her snack! The cubs are growing so fast now they are all the same size as the adults. I suppose next year they will be bringing their babies to see me. I dread to think how many visitors Ill get hahaBut you can see her colouring is just gorgeous in the sun and they all look so healthy and fluffy. Mind you I should think they are with the food they get from me daily. Fresh meat daily.

On ... by Carol Clarke

... Man and his dog! Right up at the top of a local country park is this rather large installation! The park is called The Ranges and I hadnt ventured there before on my walks as its about 5 miles away. But it was a lovely day and I fancied walking somewhere new so I popped on my trusty walking boots and set off to walk there from home. It was a lovely day and the climb to the top of the hill was well worth the views! Ill be venturing there again soon and exploring more of the park! Below are 2 of my 3D Christmas Diorama Shadow Box Card Mini Kits .... theres lots more to choose from too! lol

Number two has arrived by Carol Dunne

What an interesting couple of weeks this has been. Last week I showed you our new grandson Jaxon, now less than a week later our second grandson has arrived. Here he is with his grandad, a lovely little boy called Arlo. So far he seems very peaceful and calm, very chilled out and doesnt cry very much, lets hope it stays that way.

The Big Wet by Amanda Assenbruck

Queensland has again been inundated with rain. With the catchments already full from previous lots of rain this Spring there has been a lot of flooding again. As nice as it is to have the green grass and the dam and tanks full we dont need the flooding. As we are up on a hill we are fine but there is a floodcreek that runs through the neighbouring properties. For about the 3rd time this year our bottom road hasgone under, I think it may be a long time before it gets fixed this time! Even so, our hearts go out to thosein neighbouring towns which did go under. Today is the second day of Summer so with La Nina prevailingit will be interesting.

Growing so fast! by Sue Way

Sam is now 5 months old! Look how big he is getting. He weighs more than Billy did at this age, so I better up my weight training if I want to continue lifting him for his monthly pictures. He is a lovely little pup, very sweet-natured. He is loving his daily walks with Billy to the beach and has braved the sea a few times, even when it is so cold! I wonder if he will be a swimmer?
