I don’t normally do this type of thing but it’s been a tough six months for her .
For those who don’t know mum is currently a resident of Fairholme Nursing home in Camborne after unfortunately breaking her 2nd hip in June , she was in respite having come out of hospital in March and not settling at home, she fell at the respite nursing home.
Since breaking her 2nd hip she was in Treslike hospital for the fix , Newquay hospital for recuperation , then moved to a nursing home in Lostwithiel (38 miles from her home) and after a fight I have managed to get into a nursing home in Camborne 12 miles from her home in Falmouth - no homes in Falmouth would or could take her.
Wanted mum to be close to home so family and friends could visit if they wish.
Mum unfortunately is now in a position where she needs 24 hr nursing care and will never be able to return home.
She as lost the use of her legs , partial use of her hands,
such a shame for someone that was always on the go !!
On the up side mum is still with us mentally, loves a good chat /and still as that wicked naughty since of humour
Ena is 89 on Monday 8th November I will be there with her , if anyone wants to send a card etc I know she would really appreciate this and will lift her spirits.
