Sun was shining so the photos came out just beautiful.Im going to miss these guys when the Squadron disperses and the F35 Lightnings arrive There will still be Eagles F15s at Lakenheath but instead of the reapers it will be the F35 Squadron and the Reapers will be no more at Lakenheath..They take a beautiful photo and Ill certainly miss them!

Freaky Weather by Vicki Avcin

Queensland broke a new record on Tuesday when 16cm hail stones pelted a small town just north of Mackay while other places recorded equal to the previous record of 14cm and many stones around 15cm. There may have been bigger stones in uninhabited areas but the 16cm was officially recognised as photographic evidence with the chunk of ice against a ruler. The central Qld coast was again buffeted with wild weather yesterday (Wednesday) also with planes flipped at Mackay Airport and many reports of trees down and hail going through rooves. Meanwhile the whole eastern coast line has been hammered also. Fortunately we have escaped any hail (although hubby thinks we may have had pea size in the storm that woke us up rudely in the middle of the night) and just had good rainfall. No destructive winds either but other places have had the whole storm kit. A town near Byron Bay in NSW looked like a town in the snow fields yesterday with hail a couple of feet deep which blocked roads and made life uncomfortable. This weather is due to continue for a couple more days yet. Hopefully we wont get the bad stuff! Storm season has begun so another 6 months of these storms and thats not including the cyclones! Its getting wilder every year!

Designs this week are 2 pretty quick and easy floral Mini Kits.

Bird Watching! by Sue Way

Sam is now 16 weeks old, its going so fast! He is fascinated by birds, but it is in his breeding so I shouldnt be surprised. I captured this lovely picture of him sitting in the garden watching a pigeon on our neighbours roof. Billy was laying on the other side of the fence taking a little break from puppy bitey face, bless him.

... been seeing lots of the wonderful Fly Agaric toadstool whilst Ive been out and about in the woods this week. Its proper, but much more boring name, is Amanita muscaria, but its much more commonly known as the fly agaric or fly amanita! lol It certainly makes a bright bold statement in the Autumn sunshine! Below are 2 of my Christmas Cracker Box Mini Kits .... theres lots more to choose from too! lol

Mind how you Run by Janice McFarlane

My daughter over the last few years took up running. She has always loved athletics from being at school and represented her school on a number of occasions, but as a sprinter. She really wasnt a long distance runner. So it was a surprise to all of us when she took this up and then decided to try the Oxford half marathon running on behalf of Centrepoint a youth homeless charity. That was a couple of years ago, then we found ourselves in lockdown due to Covid, so no events were organized. This year the event was back on with more runners than ever. Kayleigh opted to run on behalf of the mental health charity Mind. Something that is close to her heart and mine. She smashed it finishing with a time of 2:37. Im so proud of her and for raising funds for Mind. She has since applied to take part in the London Marathon 2022.

Lovely holiday by Carol Dunne

After being in lockdown for so long it was a great relief to have had both of our COVID injections which enabled us to go on a much needed holiday and get some sun before the winter arrives. Gran Canaria was our destination and in the phot you can see my husband in Puero Mogan with the gorgeous multicoloured bougainvillea in the street behind. We had a fabulous holiday, oh to be back there now.
