Autumnal Spring clean by Janice McFarlane

Who can believe we are in September already, where has this year gone. On returning from our four and a half week stay with our daughter and the boys, I have thought it was time for a spring clean in Autumn. Living in a small bungalow space is crucial, especially for my ever growing hobbies. Although I did make the decision to stop starting new hobbies. How long that will last I dont know. Also my husbands hobby is reading and we have an ever increasing collection of books to find space for. Of course our cat Bailey also has to be the gaffer and inspect every nook and cranny, just in case weve missed anything. He especially liked the drawer from under the bed. It must have been the box of his dreams, although he was quickly evicted from it. One good thing from my Autumnal Spring clean, was that our local charity shop, got well stocked up with everything from shoes to furniture and everything in between.

Fox Dog by Tina Fitch

Yes hes back! Id missed him for couple of weeks I knew he was there somewhere but he hasnt shown his face for a couple of weeks but hes now back.He waited for ages just looking at me waiting for his snack.. He stood and waited for me to throw it over the fence normally hes off and comes back when Ive sat down. They must be getting used to me now as I feed them dailyNot sure if thats a good or bad thing but if I leave for even a day they are sitting in the log waiting for me.So here he is stretching on the log just looking at me.

Sunflowers by Judith Henry

Wow! Standing in a field of sunflowers is a real treat. There are several farms in our area that have these tall flowers available to wander through the fields in September. They are only open for a very short time. They are taller than me or my husband. Hopefully this year we can have our granddaughter with us.

we .... by Carol Clarke

...Recently had a lovely day with our youngest grandchildren, Olivia & Austin. After playing football in the garden ... and losing it over the fence ... and then playing hunt the chicks (6 small chicks that get hidden in the garden) .... but Austin was sooo good at hiding them ... that we still havent found the 6th! So we decided that something a little less frustrating was in order! I got out the felt tips and paper for some craft time instead! lol Below are two of my Christmas Door Countdown Animated Card Kits. A lovely way to countdown the Sleeps till Santa arrives!! ... There are lots more to choose from too! lol

Balloons by Vicki Avcin

Well we have made the move and are now in our new place. Lots of new and exciting things to see, find, experience and one of them was a big surprise on Sunday morning. I knew that down this way they did hot air balloon flights a little further south but what a thrill to see them to the south of us just gliding through the skies. We saw three of them, there may have been more, seemingly barely moving across the sky. I only had my phone so quality isnt great but still, I was happy to have snapped a couple of them in some of the photos. Some things are still the same as they were when we left this area nearly 20 years ago but there has also been a lot of development also. But it does feel like weve come home. Its been great seeing the kids and grandkids nearly every day, we have missed them so much.

They Won! by Sue Way

Many of you will know that my son is the actor Tony Way. He plays Lenny in the hit comedy series After Life, written by the brilliant Ricky Jervais. Well, After Life was nominated for the comedy award at the National Television Awards and they won!!!! Hubby and me couldnt stop smiling at the TV. One of his friends snapped this picture of him on the stage as they collected the award. Tony is the one clapping. We are very happy and proud parents!
