Iron Bridge- Shropshire by Deborah Davies

My friend and I just had a marvellous weekend, we went on a spa break to Telford in Shropshire. The hotel itself was gorgeous, set in lovely gardens. After we had some very relaxing spa treatments we decided on a little stroll which turned into a 5 hour hike!! Our aim was the Iron Bridge. We got diverted and visited Blists Hill Victorian Town, it was really interesting, they still used a 16 century building as a coffee shop where we just had to rest for a cream tea! We then finished our trek at the Iron Bridge designed and constructed in 1795 by Abraham Darby lol.

Meet Sam! by Sue Way

Such exciting news for you this week! Last weekend we picked up our new puppy. A Golden Retriever brother for Billy. We have named him Sam. Its early days yet, but he has settled in really well. It took Billy a few days to accept him, but now they are starting to become best buddies. He cant go on walks yet as he hasnt had all his jabs, so we have got him a puppy stroller, so he can come on Billys walks with us. I am going to be boring you all with lots of pictures of the 2 boys on their adventures together in all my news stories from now on lol

This is what happens when you leave you

office door open by Judith Henry

Gertrude the cat is visiting. She is curious about everything. Im being careful but, oops, I left the office door open. I was going through my popup cards in search of birthday cards for a client. Unfortunately I left the door open and this is what I came back to. This kitty is not trained like a dog. You cant say get down or come here and expect a reaction. But she is very lovable and the owner, me, needs to be trained.

We ... by Carol Clarke

... are sooo proud of our youngest son, Paul, who got the bronze medal in the 1500 meters at the British Masters Track & Field Championships in derby this week. Typically he was disappointed in his time of 4.06.19 mins, which was just 0,0168 mins behind the winner! To be fair though he had been very ill just a week or so before the race with a virus (not Covid thankfully) and this was affecting his breathing! He knew he can and has run faster ... soooo ... roll on next years Championships! lol Below are two of my Christmas Cracker Box Mini Kits ... There are lots more to choose from too! lol

Flashback 6 years by Janice McFarlane

This picture popped up in my memories on Facebook. A very young 3 year old Alfie who is now 9 years. This is our old house from 6 years ago. When my daughter and family lived at RAF Wittering which is a lot closer to us than where she lives now at RAF Benson, she was able to visit us regularly. One of Alfies favorite things to do with my husband is bake a cake. He couldnt wait and it was always the first thing he asked to do when he arrived. Complete with the pair of them wearing aprons, they made lovely cakes. It strange looking at how young he is in comparison to a 9 year old ice hockey player. Happy memories.

Pounce! by Tina Fitch

Just look at the little devil he looks like a little cat waiting to pounce on his prey! I have 4 of the fox Cubs I thought it was 3 but another has appeared from out of nowhere.. they come still daily for their food, its costing me a fair bit now buying extra bits for the cubs as well as my own dog. They do make me smile though. They are so funny sometimes. Ive even thrown a ball for them as I caught this one throwing stones from his mouth and chasing them. I know Im mad. But it keeps me busy
