My Clematis by Deborah Davies

After what has felt like an age of freezing cold, wet miserable weather, we have had a few days of warmth and beautiful sun!! As you can see in the photo my garden has appreciated this lovely weather immensely! I dont think I have seen my clematis so large and perky. I have decided to go and buy more to fill the other side of the fence.

A male design for upcoming fathers day and florals for any occasion

From Jurrassic to Miniatures by Janice McFarlane

This last half term has seen families make the most of the good weather and that little bit more freedom from lockdown. Theme Parks and attractions are now open. My daughter and family live in Oxfordshire, not too far from what is classed as the Cotswolds and a favourite place for them to visit is Bourton on the Water a very picturesque place in itself. On this occasion they were visiting Birdland and Jurassic Journey park. The park has over 500 species of birds from Penguins and Flamingos to Owls. The boys absolutely loved it and it was great to get back out and feel somewhat normal again. The thing they like the most was the Jurassic section of the park where the animal exhibits were life size. So going from the Biggest to the smallest they finsihed off with a visit to the Miniature Village where I think Gulliver would have felt at home.

Nesting by Tina Fitch

My trip to RAF Lakenheath this week was a little surprising to say the least... Wednesday we took our trip parked the car where we normally park. Got cameras ready for when the flying started. As I took the view in I noticed something moving out of the corner of my eye, I didnt quite catch it the first time but continued to look and low and behold there is was!In the pipe that goes across the driveway to lock up the road there was blue tits in and out.. It turns out they had built their next just inside it and the noise of the chicks was quite loud.. I was really surprised to see it to be honest as the pipe or bar is moved twice daily to put across the road.. I thought if nests were moved the adults no longer feed them, But I suppose as no-one actually touched the nest as such they just carried on.Anyway the photo is of one of the parents they had taken food in but came out with birds poo LOL cleaning the nest..How funny it was to watch!

IM NOT JUST CARDS by Wanda Lipski

Im also beading, as this is one of the few things that I can still do as I have osteoarthritis AND carpel tunnel syndrome in my right hand and so for the moment, playing the piano and organ is off the menu! Ive now mastered brick stitch and these are some of the earrings Ive made using this very relaxing technique. Clicking on a mouse is OK wearing my hand splint, but holding the digital pen that gives me control over every pixel is not possible with the splint, so Ive been being naughty. Hmmm Darling Hubby is on my case. These are a couple of my latest twist & pop cards that Ive designed for you with and without the dreaded spling. Hope you enjoy them.

Mount Rushmore National Memorial, South Dakota, USA by Sandie Burchell

On our road trip across several States last month, we stayed near and went to the Mount Rushmore National Memorial at Keystone in South Dakota. This is a place to visit that has been on our bucket list for several years and we finally got there! The Memorial was started in 1927 and completed in 1941 under the direction of Gutzon Borglum and his son Lincoln, the sculptures roughly 60-ft.-high granite faces depict U.S. Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

This week I am promoting more of my Christmas Room Shaped Card Mini Kits. Thank you for looking! x

We ... by Carol Clarke

... were able to see our youngest grandchildren again this week and with the weather still being nice we all went to our local park. The park had a make over a few months ago so they were really excited to see all the new play equipment. The new climbing frames went down a treat ... but then 9 year old Olivia decided to go on the swings .... and see how many ways she could ride them.... this one just had to be the oddest though! lol Below are two of my 3D Gift Box Card designs ... There are lots more to choose from too! lol

Done!! by Vicki Avcin

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about painting our house. Well finally it is finished. No more Kermit Cottage and the replaced boards and extension are all one colour.I have waited for this moment for years and so happy it is done now. Its a wise house now too as the paint name is Knowledge! White base with black and a deep magenta tint just to take it off being a straight grey. We were lucky to get it done because weve been hit with a real taste of winter and its been freezing overnight but fortunately days have been sunny and warm with not a lot of wind enabling us to get the back of the house done. It doesnt look like our house now…. (kind of got use to it the old way) and Im thrilled to bits with its new look.

Coming Up Roses... by Clare Walker

It was, finally, so great this week to have great weather, time and the freedom to enjoy the three of these together. First stop was a local rose garden that has come into its own this year after rain and sun at just the right times. This picture shows one of them up close, but sadly, can`t convey the wonderful scent of all of them together. Please just imagine that instead...

Happy Birthday to me! by Sue Way

It was my Birthday this week. I treated myself to a couple of days holiday from work and just relaxed. My hubby spoilt me with bath bombs, an Amazon voucher and earbuds. Then when he came home from work he bought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers, all chosen by him in my favourite colour. He also gave me some chocolate, so I think he is a keeper lol We are having a little family party at the weekend for me and Jessica as she becomes a teenager next week.
