Virginia Bells by Judith Henry

Virginia bells are a little different the the ones you find in England. Right now our forest areas are covered with these pretty blue flowers. I have a few that come up every year in my perennial garden. The daffodils are fading. The blue bells have there varied color depending on the stage of growth. They start out as pink buds gradually turning blue as more of the flower opens. Next week Im expecting the Lilly of the Valley.

Chopper Convention by Vicki Avcin

Last weekend there was a gathering of helicopters (majority Robinson 44s) at the Hervey Bay Airport. There was around 16 of them although a few more joined in the few days they were here.It caused quite a stir and a spectacle as nothing was advertised/reported until they were here. They started arriving on Saturday and buzzed out on Tuesday to head up north. They are a tour group but what they are touring and whether it is business or leisure no one seems to know. However with all these tourists in town, its great for the economy as theyd have had to have accommodation, meals and maybe even a trip to Fraser Island. They would not have been allowed to land on Fraser Island so wouldve had to get the barge over. Was very cool seeing all of them lined up at the airport.

Promotion this week is two of my centre circle cut out designs. You get a selection of sentiments to use with each design.

Gold Finch by Tina Fitch

Im my garden waiting to get onto the bird table. They must have babies as the food Im going through is ridiculous! Ive filled the bird food up three times a day for the last week There is so many new birds this year that I havent seen in my garden. Thats as well as the foxes up the back in their den just the other side of my fence .The gold finch is really pretty and they sing beautifully in fact I always thought that we had canaries nearby but it turns out to be them The birds seem to be quite tame this year too not really worried if youre there or not.

Well .... by Carol Clarke

... After the ice, snow and hailstones we had last week .... weve now got a mini heatwave! lol OK the temperatures arent really in the heatwave range being just 14 or 15 degrees but it really does feel warm after the really low temperatures we experienced last week! We took advantage of this to take a short stroll along an old railway track nearby and took ion the lovely scenery around. Below are two of my popular Floral Carousel Card Kits ... theres lots more to choose from too! lol

Where did you get that Cat! by Janice McFarlane

It never ceases to make me laugh at the places where cats choose to have a nap. Social media is flooded of pictures of cats in the most obscure places and contortions cats wiill get themselves into for the ultimate cat nap. Although my cat Bailey hasnt quite managed a clothes airer (we dont have one) he still amuses me as to some of the places he chooses. The first picture I snapped when my husband had fallen asleep and Bailey decided to be a kind of Davey Crocket Hat like the one the character would wear in the old western movies with the racoon tail hanging down one side. My hubby was totally oblivious to it, but Bailey was comfortable. The second pic I took because of my neverending battle trying to discourage Bailey not to lie on the desk, especially over the keyboard. I turned my back for a minute and there he was curled up fast asleep on the keyboard. He wasnt too impressed when I evicted him. One thing is for sure he makes me laugh daily, and that is a good thing.

Magnolia! by Sue Way

A few years ago I shared a picture of our Magnolia in full bloom, it was a lot smaller then, even though it was 10 years old when I took the picture! I originally bought it for our Pearl wedding anniversary. We have now had it for 13 years and look how its blossomed! I hope you are all keeping safe and well.
