I ... by Carol Clarke

... Had a lovely Mothers Day surprise when a knock at the door brought me a huge box with this lovely floral arrangement and a fabulous Mothers Day card too! My daughter had arranged to have it delivered to me and it brought happy tears to my eyes! These beautiful blooms smell gorgeous too filling the house with their aroma! My two sons sent me lovely edible treats of chocolates and scented candles so I feel like Im the luckiest Mum in the world!

World Book Day by Janice McFarlane

My grandson Harry loves dressing up as various characters, so was rather excited about World Book Day at nursery school which was a couple of weeks ago. His favourite book is Were going on a Bear Hunt, in fact so much so he can almost recite the book off by heart. He loves it so much, so when asked what he would like to dress up as, it was no surprise he chose a bear. So the hunt was on for a bear costume. He was so excited to wear it, and just looks the cutest and huggable bear for me to find.

RAIN AT LAST! by Vicki Avcin

Well after months and months of no or next to none, finally we have had some decent rain. Forecasts were promising for up to 200 mm over the next 10 days. We laugh at these forecasts because they never happen and usually we get maybe 5 or 10 mm if we are lucky. So Monday came and started off sunny but cloudy, then Monday afternoon the clouds started building and we were hopeful. Well true to form we didnt get a lot, 15mm by 9am Tuesday morning. Maryborough just 20 mins down the road got a whopping 101mm in the same timeframe. So while we missed out it was good that Maryborough got a decent soaking because they have been longing for the rain too. Everywhere the grass was brown and crunchy and we had a high fire risk, so much so that a Fire Ban had been put in place on the previous Friday. So each day we had cloudy days with nothing more than showers which for the week hasnt added up to even 20mm of rain. Today is sunny and hot so will be a very humid day but a lot more rain is forecast over the weekend and into about Wednesday next week. FINGERS CROSSED. But what a difference that little bit of rain brings, frogs are out, one even sleeping in the corner of the wall and ceiling on the front patio, the mushrooms are growing (we are lucky they are edible ones) making little fairy circles (well half a one) in the front yard and best of all we have GREEN grass that is soft to walk on! Our wet season (summer) didnt happen, Autumn looks a little more promising for more rainfall…….. we hope.

My designs today are perfect for Mothers Day (US and AU still to have theirs). Option to be used for Birthdays also as different tags included.

Just posing by Tina Fitch

There he was just sitting on the bank behind my garden fence, When I looked and caught him first he was scratching and didnt stop maybe a few fleas giving him so jip lol.I stood there watching for sometime before attempting to get my camera and when I did eventually go and get it I though I bet hes gone when I get back...But NO he was still there and he stopped and stared at me doe sometime before I took the photo,I moved slowly down the garden so i could get as close as I could, But on moving and I was moving slowly I could see him getting ready to run, so I stayed still and started clicking..And this is how close I was.... He looked so scrawny close up but those eyes are beautiful you cant deny him that! Thanks for your continued support..

Double Figures! by Sue Way

This week was our granddaughter Imogens 10th birthday. We had to give her her presents from a distance on the doorstep in the freezing cold, but she was happy. One of her presents from us was a t-shirt with a game controller on it and the words Level 10 Unlocked Instead of a cake she was surprised by a Birthday Heart Smash, which comes with a little hammer to break it open and reveal the delicious treats inside! She was a very happy little girl. I hope you are all keeping safe and well. Thank you for continuing to support us. https://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/
