Good wait Billy by Sue Way

After Billy has had his run on the beach in the morning, we then take a stroll back home past the newsagents for hubby to buy his daily paper. Billy waits so beautifully. Then he gets a treat for being a good boy before we continue our walk home. Look how handsome he looks. I hope you are all keeping safe and well. I have a Plan by Vicki Avcin

I have an old piano thats been in the family for a long long time. I havent played for years since I was a teenager (which I now sometimesregret) but I cant bear to part with it because I remember my Grandmotherplaying it, my mother playing it and I played it till I rebelled and refused tocontinue with my music lessons when I was around 14 yrs old. Mum made me take music lessons and do all the exams, which I would gethonours for, but I didnt like the old fashioned stuff that I had to do and wanted to do all the hip songs of the day. So I deliberately failed the last exam I ever did. Bad me! Anyway this piano weighs a ton and we thought of selling it but there is a lot of pianos out there and they arent selling. No one even wants it as a give away! Everyone wantsthe lighter electronic keyboards these days. I saw a post on FB where someone had the same problems selling so they decided to turn it into a sewing station. I thought what a great idea and I get to keep the piano. Im looking forward to ripping the guts out of it and make it useful again…… and it will be so much lighter to move around too. It will also be more workspace than I have now as currently my machine is on a small sideboard table. I think I have a great plan!!

Todays designs are some more of my Easter designs. One has a video tutorial on how to make it up.

The .... by Carol Clarke

...Surprise View! There is a lovely walk near to where we live that takes you down quaintly named Weavers Lane and back along Kennel Lane. Im guessing these lanes were named for the uses they had many years ago. They are near to Annesley Hall and most of the land around there its no large stretch of the imagination they they had something to do with the Hall. The walk takes you down a lovely country lane and then a you turn the corner in the top photo you get the panoramic view in the bottom photo! On a sunny day like today the view is absolutely stunning!

A Cheese Sandwich Has Never Tasted So

Good... by Clare Walker

For all the reasons that all of us know only too well, it`s been a very long time since we had a picnic around these parts. Granted that we probably wouldn`t have *wanted* to have one during the winter, but still... It`s been a while. So when, this week, we got to sit among the blackthorn blossom, with a legitimately *leisurely* toastie, in sunshine that felt suspiciously spring-like...Let`s just say, a cheese sandwich has never tasted so good.
