Spooookkkkkeeeeyyyyyyy Halloween Pumpkin Trail!! Our local area had a frighteningly spooky Halloween Trail which started from the entrance to the woods and trailed though the woods. ooOooooo the witches and wizards, Spooks and Ghouls were all out in force to follow the flickering spooky trail! It was lovely to see the children all dressed in their horrible outfits set out for the scary adventure! Luckily it was set out in such a way that it was easy to social distance and still enjoy the seasonal frights!! lol Below are two of my 3D Christmas Character Topped Milk Carton Boxes ...theres lots more to choose from too!! lol

Winter Rain by Judith Henry

We live in a fantasy land at the moment. It wants to snow but its too warm. Instead the trees are covered in ice. Today the dog gingerly trotted out the door on his trolley lead cord to find it the trolley wheels frozen. He didnt get far from the back porch. I think I will stay home, darn, another day. Ha, ha.

News! by Sue Way

Well as we are in lockdown again, its hard to find any news to tell you all, but luckily Billy keeps us entertained. I was laying in bed telling hubby I had no news then this happened. Billy climbed onto the be, lay in my arms and told me all his news. He mumbles and makes little piggy noises, its so sweet & very serious. I love him so much.

Fire on KGari by Vicki Avcin

Our beautiful island is burning! Most of you would have heard of Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world. It is now known as Kgari. About 4 weeks ago an illegal campfire started a fire which has now spread over 30675 hectares and is still burning. The Orchid Beach resort had a backburn put in around it to save it but as its uninhabited through most of the rest of the island Parks have let it burn. Parks and Wildlife are the ones who are monitoring it. The terrain is quite harsh with just a few tracks throughout the area with big sand dunes so very hard to get vehicles, let alone fire trucks around the land. The area with the lines on the pictured map is roughly the burnt out area so far and with the winds weve been having it is pushing the fire in a southerly direction. We need some good rain to arrive but sadly none forecast for at least a week and then it wont be enough to put it out, just slow it down a little. Pristine rainforest is being destroyed but hopefully it will recover. Normally we wouldnt see these fires on Fraser but with the lack of rain the past couple of years it has allowed the fire to get a hold. Such a shame but on a positive a lot of our native vegetation actually needs fire to regenerate so hopefully if we can get some good rain this wet season it will help it recover. The photo shows the 3 main fire fronts and it was taken from the mainland.

Heavy PROP Blur by Tina Fitch

Just look at the prop blur on this... What a superb catch..This was the C17 heavy leaving Lakenheath after a quick drop by from RAF Mildenhall.. something to do with the runway I believe, But was a joy to catch.Having your camera on a slow shutter is very challenging to say the least when trying to catch prop blur.. Its either perfect or out of focus and I can tell you that many I took that day were out of focus. Was a very dull and wet day but I was pleased with this particular shot.

New Craft (Cat) Trolley. by Janice McFarlane

Living in a small retirement bungalow means space and storage is very limited. Its ideal for us in the sense of health wise for my hubby there are no more stairs. For a crafter like me, not so good. Storage and space is needed, and as we only have a living/kitchen area a wet room and bedroom, we had to be pretty savvy when buying furniture etc., making sure we had plenty of storage. As the 3 years have flown by since first moving in, craft storage is a problem. I only have a tiny area for my desk and computer, and apart from designing I do other crafts on an evening. Ive had various little tables and drawers at the side of me, but it was never enough, so I decided on a small 3 tier trolley which would give me extra storage ad work space when needed. This is great, I thought, however like all curious cats my Bailey had other ideas. Now I know cats will investigate new things, perhaps have a sniff around and even sit in it, then leave it alone. So, when Bailey did his usual quality control inspection I thought that would be it. Oh no, he now thinks the top tier is his personal bed, and surveillance tower. I can only hope he will eventually get bored of it and move on to pastures new like an empty box. So much for a craft trolley, its more like a cat trolley!
