Im not a gardener by any means so I get really excited when anything in my garden survives and then flowers. I really dont know how people get all their gardens to flower at one time because mine seem to come out in dribs and drabs. I have 3 orchids that I wait patiently for each year to display their lovely blooms. So in the photo the white one flowered last month, sadly only one spike this year when normally it has two or three, and the brown/reddish and yellow ones have finally flowered this week. So all I can do is admire them while they are open.

My featured items this week are for Christmas. A pretty Silver Bells sheet and a set of texts that could be printed onto stickers or tags or designers can use in their projects.

CONFINED IN A FEVER HOSPITAL

Yes, as you in the UK go back into lockdown, were one up on you already as weve been locked down, or in my case locked IN for a week now. Locked in because my husband has Covid. Where he got it I have no idea since he has hardly left the house in weeks as he was feeling very unwell and absolutely exhausted. When he finally consulted the doctor about losing 10 kilos in 4 weeks the doc did a covid test just to reassure him. We couldnt believe the result ... nor the fact that I am negative. Obviously Im locked in with him, but this is where I went today, OUTSIDE of our 1 km boundary because it was the only place I could think of where I would meet absolutely no-one. For a precious half hour I was able to contemplate the beauty of our little lake and have a little scream when a donkey started braying in the next field. My heart goes out to any of you who are also living with covid. My husband will be going into hospital tomorrow so Im probably be designing more to keep busy and keep an eye out on the 10th as Ill be on designer discount to celebrate my birthday. Last Flight by Tina Fitch

This was Scoff the ducks last flightScoff is a cuddly toy owned by one of the pilots daughters. She give to her dad daily for him to take with him when he flys.He supposed to keep him safe when he flies and she expects him home when her dad comes home from work. There seems to be a few pilots now taking their mascots on their flights. And thats something we as photographers look for now in the cockpits on takeoff or landing

Lovely sunny Morning! Well weve had quite a week of weather from torrential rain and hailstones to lovely clear blue sunny skies! lol I took this photo when we went for a short walk just down the road from us and I was struck with how lovely the colour of the leaves looked against the amazing blue sky. Intrepid Explorer by Janice McFarlane

Well, we are in yet another lockdown and it seem to be never ending. Just before this happened my grandson Harry was off on his little explorer travels. A group on the RAF base where my daughter lives, cant meet indoors as they normally would so an outdoor group was created for the toddlers to explore nature in their surrounding area. Little vests, hats, magnifying glasses, nets and bug boxes are provided for the children as they go off on their adventures. Harry loves it, he gets to jump in puddles, climb under supervision, and forage around. This week he collected a spider, snail and caterpillar in his box to have a closer look at before letting them all go again. Its a great way to give the children some outdoor exercise, and education.

The other day I decided to wash some of Billys favourite teddies as he sucks on them when he goes to sleep, so they were getting a bit crusty lol I managed to sneak them into the washing machine without him noticing, but when I opened the tumble dryer after they were dry it was a different story!
