Such ... by Carol Clarke

... A cutie!! This is a photo of one of my older grandchildren that I took of her when she was 4. She will be 18 in just a few weeks time and because of the Covid situation we arent going to be able to have the big party that we would otherwise have had. Sooo its going to be more of an online party via Facetime or Zoom and weve all been asked to dig out photos of her over the years to put in an album, hence my finding this photo again! lol Bless her she didnt have an easy start in life being rushed into hospital when she was just a few weeks old. She was shuttled by ambulance to 4 specialist Childrens Hospitals ending up in Great Ormond Street where she had a life saving Tracheostomy! She has however never let her early years get her down and is now a lovely young woman who is studying Applied Sciences and hopes to be a nurse in the very same hospital that saved her own life!

Baby Love by Janice McFarlane

As some of you will have read in the past, I have crocheted for years, but have had a lengthy break from it this year as I have been trying out some new hobbies like needle felting and zentangle. I am about to add a third hobby which also requires me to take up the crochet hook again. I am about to start reborning baby dolls. The art of painting doll kits to make them look and feel real. I havent actually started the painting yet, as I have been watching a lot of instructional videos and buying the supplies gradually of what I need to do this. As well as hopefully being able to sell my creations in the future, I want to donate some baby dolls to care homes for people who have dementia. On research, I have discovered that dementia sufferers benefit greatly from having a baby doll to cuddle and love. So I have embarked on my crocheting once again to make my own outfits. I am even giving knitting a go too, as little vests are better knitted than crocheted as they are not a bulky. I also hope to donate some premature baby clothing to local hospitals. Problem is now, finding all the extra hours in a day to do all of these things.

Going up! by Tina Fitch

Caught on the way up! So close this week.. you can even see the pilots looking at you... This was Hustler and his WSO making vapour over Lakenheath Tuesday afternoon... They came out Late Tuesday due to late night flying with the Aviano F16s.. They played all afternoon up the Mach Loop in wales and also up to lake district to fly low level .. Id love to catch them low in the mountains but I really dont think I could make the climbIt was really beautiful weather but the haze in the sky wasnt very nice for photos to be honest..Its better when the air is cooler so the haze doesnt spoil the shots.. But I thought this one was just right!new designs now in the store for you https://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

New Mini Office by Deborah Davies

Due to current events some of us are finding ourselves working from home, at least part of the time. Therefore, I checked all of rooms in my house (which is very small) and decided I could pinch a little corner of my kitchen. As you can see from photo I picked a corner desk unit in black (to match my dining table lol)it took an hour to put together. I am quite pleased with my new mini office.

Ladies.... Do you remember when? by Vicki Avcin

Ladies do you remember when you were pregnant and felt so cumbersome with the big bump you were carrying around? Well how about this mumma skippy trying to hop around with a pouch full of one joey? Poor thing is dragging the pouch along the ground even though bubba is ready to come out of the pouch and hop around on its own. Bubba is out, as we have video of it bouncing around the back yard finding its feet. But the comfort and warmth seems it thinks its a better option to snuggle into even though when it climbs back in there is no room to turn around or fully fit in the pouch. You can see in the photos its back legs and tail hanging out. To get out it has to back out!!! The joey would be around 9 or 10 months old now.Mumma seems to be staying in our back yard as it would seem trying to hop off down the paddock is a bit of an effort. Isnt it the cutest little thing?

A Sunny Day by Judith Henry

This might be an annual visit. There are only a few weeks in a year when the sunflowers are in bloom. This was a wonderful place to visit and get inspiration. It was amazing to see how the flowers follows the sun. One flower on each plant with the stems about an inch in diameter. We walked around following a path and got into the rows and the bees.

Country Park by Sue Way

A few miles from us is a 38 hectare former landfill site that has been restored as a country park and includes meadow areas established for wildlife. It is changing and growing all the time. The park looks over the estuary and countryside beyond. Of course, our Golden Retriever Billy loves it and it is a popular place for dog walkers. I hope you are all keeping safe and well. Thank you for continuing to support us. I love looking at all your beautiful cards and designs.
