For someone who likes his tools, Mr Fix-it, the handyman around the house, the man who can do it all. This mini kit is just for them. There is a main card front and decoupage layers. A good choice of sentiments/greetings saying for a variety of occasions. For example Happy Father's Day, No One Measures Up To You, Fabulous Mr. Fix-It, Happy Birthday Son, Dad, Brother etc plus others and extra blanks for your own message. There is a blank insert, a verse insert. The verse insert has one of my birthday verses and has a handyman/DIY theme to it. Then the extras sheet has a backing sheet and tile to add your crafter details to plus extras to add your own personal touches to the card, envelope or to decorate a gift perhaps. The card front prints out to just over 7" x 5" I hope you find this mini kit useful and can create something special with it.

Blast from the Past. by Vicki Avcin

Facebook does have its good points……… we can stay in touch with friends and family and even meet new friends. I have stayed in touch with many of my friends from years and years ago and when one of them posted on FB that they were here in Hervey Bay we organised to meet up. Claire was one of my crew when she started as a recruit and I remember being in the Firefighter Games team with her, her first structural fire that she ever went to and many many hours out fighting wildfires with her over the years. She put it on hold when her first bub was born and then the second one came along. She was always the life of the party but as she put it when the kids came along it was time to grow up and put things on hold. She now has 4 gorgeous girls and ran her own business till recently when she returned to finish off her diploma in nursing. We had a wonderful few hours catching up, reminiscing and talking about family. She went to school with my eldest two kids. So for all its faults, FB does bring people together. Sadly unbeknown to us as we were laughing and talking, one of her best friends husband was victim to a shark attack over on Fraser Island. As hard as they tried to tend to him he succumbed to the attack. Wasnt until she got back to where they were staying she got the news and messaged me to tell me. I knew there had been an attack just before she got here but never in our wildest thoughts would it turn out to be someone one of us knew. Almost felt guilty that night that we were so happy when her friend had lost a loved one just over the other side of the island. But he was doing what he loved, scuba diving.

My designs today are quick cards to make up, one for those who love sailing and a pretty unicorn.

Im Not Lion... by Janice McFarlane

...Im not amused!. Roxy is my daughters Staffie, she is an old girl now being 11 years old in human years but 77 years old in doggies years. She is still very active though and love her walks. Staffies usually get a lot of bad press, with news about them being vicious etc. I am a firm believer it isnt the dog that is the problem but their owners. Roxy is a testament to that. She reminds me of the dog Nana in the Peter Pan story, who looks after the children. She is the most loving, caring and obedient dog. She has a lovely gentle nature and being brought up with my two boisterous grandsons she has the patience of a saint. Needless to then refer to the picture, my youngest grandson Harry and his little friend Robyn decided that Roxy would look much better as a Lion, so plonked this Lions mane on her head. Bless her she never flinched, and posed for the photo, although she definitely doesnt look very amused.

My 60th Birthday ....continued by Sue Way

As some of you may remember, last month I posted a story about my 60th Birthday. One of the gifts I received from my son and daughter-in-law was a letterbox bouquet. It doesnt look much when you open it as the blooms are sleeping but over the next few days, they gradually wake up and look stunning. They also last for ages. What I didnt realise was that they had paid for a 3 month subscription, so just as the first ones had finished I came home to another one, all different flowers too. I hope you are all keeping well and staying safe. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

We ... by Carol Clarke

... Are sooo lucky to be surrounded with lots and lots of lovely countryside with woodland walks, footpaths and country parks in just about every direction! I go for a lovely walk every day ... whatever the weather ... and have never regretted stepping out of my front door and setting off! lol This photo was taken in Freckland Woods which is just a short walk away from Newstead Abbey. The Sculptures of pit tools stand about 15 feet tall at the highest point of the woods, which I guess were once the spoil heap for the pit! Below are two of my pretty Flowerpot Friends Easel Cards!

Colourful cross stitch by Anne Lever

I am really enjoying my latest cross stitch design.I love colour, and you cant get much more colourful than this. I sit down and do this in the evening, if I get my Craftsuprint designs done for the day. After a day of designing and homeschooling, I am ready for some relaxation. This cross stitch is 25 count, 25 stitches to the inch, I can still just about see it!

Organizing vinyl suppllies by Judith Henry

Ive explained before that my computer/cutting area is limited to the guest bedroom walk-in closet. I have discovered using vinyl for sentiment and small cutting pieces. The give a great professional quality. But so many colors and textures to pick from! The rolls started to cramp my limited space. I found a roll rack and showed it to my husband. I needed 3-4 of them for all my vinyl and would be about $50. I knew he could figure out a cheaper solution. For 1/4 the cost he made me one out of plumbing pipe.
