Princess by Vicki Avcin

Still baby sitting our daughters kitty cat and boy is she spoilt. About 2pm every day is when we sit down and take a time out by reading, watching TV or I play a couple of games on the tablet and Princess Georgia knows that when we sit she will have our undivided attention. If we dont sit for a time out she will pace around, and carry on until one of ussits, when shes up onto out laps. Of course she cant just sit on the lap, we have to have her favourite blanky on our laps. She loves curling up on it or in it and we startedcalling her a princess because of her demanding ways. So of course every Princess has to have a tiara and while down shopping I decided to drop in to the cheapy store and see if they had any dressups for animals. They didnt but I found a small tiara and although its not a perfect fit is does stay on her. Funny enough she wasnt phased with it so it often gets put on her now. I think it suits her!

Featured today is another from my recent collection for people to let them know you are thinking of them and a set of notelets with a faux quilled designs.

Cactus in Bloom by Judith Henry

Everyday I have been walking my dog and watching our neighbors cactus garden. We do not live in the desert and Im not sure what kind of cactus this is. It winters over in our cold snowy winter climate and resurrects in June with these showy yellow blossoms. As you can see, there are many more ready to bloom. I will enjoy the color for another week.

New designs this week.

Last ... by Carol Clarke

... Saturday morning was one of those beautifully clear and sunny starts to the day and so I decided to take a longer walk than normal and went to Newstead Abbey. The Abbey was founded as a monastic house in the twelfth century and still retains its medieval character. It is probably best known as the home of the greatest romantic poet of his time, Lord Byron! It still has a lovely romantic feel to it with the ruins and the lovely gardens. Im really lucky to be able to walk here straight from my home, its a long but lovely walk there. Below are 2 of my NEWEST designs .... Watch out for more ... COMING SOON! LOL

Them Bones, Them Bones. by Janice McFarlane

Well we seem to be having bizarre weather at the moment. At least we are indoors safe and dry, crafting, designing etc. My grandson Alfies school has not reopened so he is still getting home school tuition. The theme this term is the human body, and one of the projects was to print and cut out a skeleton and then print and cut out various organs to stick on the skeleton place them correctly and label them. My daughter decided to print the skeleton out life size to Alfie more or less. Whilst she cut it out (and that was an achievement in itself for her as she has never been great at doing that) Alfie was happy to put it together on one day and on the next put the organs etc in the right place and label them. I think he has done really well, and he enjoyed doing it. They have to send pictures in to the school to show they have completed the task.
