I dont want no dog! by Sue Rice

Thats what he said, I dont want no dog! If you get a dog I wont take care of anything about the dog. So I got a dog for me. He was (he has passed away) an apricot 7lb. miniature poodle. He had ran away from his home because his owners were in a divorce and the household was in turmoil so the dog pound kept picking him up. The last time he was picked up they didnt have the money to bail him out, so he was up for adoption. Thats how we got him. I named him Tag after another apricot poodle/cocker dog that I had over 30 years ago. I took care of him until ... , well until Tag pick my hubby as his person. Since that time I technically didnt have a dog, I even thought of getting another dog for me, but never did. So hubs did everything from feeding, walking, picking up his p**p, etc. And as you can see he even brushed his teeth. They had quite a bond, especially since it started out with, I dont want no dog.

Below are two of my Designer Resources that I have in my store, please check them out.

Mia by Janice McFarlane

Well amongst all the chaos we are having at the moment, Im still crocheting away on an evening. This is Mia in her little strawberry outfit. I have made her for my daughter who is a childminder and is just starting out. (Although at the moment she doesnt know what she is supposed to be doing as government guidelines for coronavirus for her profession seem a little vague). Anyway whilst she has plenty of toys for little boys as she has two sons, she doesnt really have anything for little girls, and most of her mindees are girls, so I offered to make her some girly type toys. She was supposed to be coming up from Oxford to see us this weekend with the grandchildren, but now that has had to be postponed. So Mia will have to wait for the time being.

Gorgeous Magnolias...(Kew Part Two)

by Clare Walker

So, heres the second instalment from our trip to Kew Gardens last week. (And yes, I won`t lie, in the light of recent events, am very glad indeed we took a day out to go). Anyway, in the interests of bringing the spring right to you, wherever you are, here`s just one of our pictures of the magnificent magnolias that were in full bloom across the grounds. More pics next week.

These cute chicks, plus everything Easter and spring-related, are on special offer in my shop now...

In ... by Carol Clarke

... between all the rainy days weve been lucky enough to have a few fine, clear sunny days too! Luckily my day off this week coincided with one of these lovely sunny days! lol So we headed out into nearby Derbyshire for a lovely walk to Hardwick Hall. On the way we passed through a little village with this quaint church! Below are two of my Pretty Floral Cards that would be just great for Mothers Day!!

Crazy World by Vicki Avcin

Well its worldwide and isnt getting better. Supermarket shelves are bare, people in self isolation, and universally people all are getting the same illness! Toilet paper, paper towel, tissues, baby wipes, then it was the rice and pastas and tin food, then mince, now its medications that are being brought in bulk, or trying to be brought, as people all over the world panic about being put in lock down. Supermarkets here have rationed items to 1 or 2 per customer. Well my hubby has sorted his priorities. He likes a nip of bourbon in his can of coke with dinner each night so when I got home from work the other night, he wanted to go straight down to Uncle Dans ( Dan Murphys) the liquor supermarket and stock up on this weeks specials. Now for someone who had surgery last week and isnt supposed to be drinking just yet hes planning ahead. I dont drink so I wont be helping him consume his purchases!

F-5N Tiger II by Tina Fitch

Well I went to Nellis AFB for the military excercise admittedly only for a week as we felt with the virus climate getting home would be a problem.. Lucky we were traveling on my daughters staff travel as some were left fighting for flights home..These two aircraft came to visit Nellis on our first day out, I had never seen these aircraft before ever! Both painted livery too. They are based at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma .. They are the Reserve fighter squadron flying the F-5N Tiger II. Known as the Snipersand serve the 4th MARINE aircraft wing at MCAS Yuma base. They came to visit whilst Red Flag was going on but only stayed a short while.. Lunch date maybe LOL..Never the less was nice to see aircraft I had never seen before..Hope you are all keeping safe :-) All files in all formats here https://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

Seafront Gardens by Sue Way

I am always rushing about, but today I took the time to appreciate the beauty on my doorstep. I gave Billy a good run on the beach, throwing pebbles into the sea for him to try to find. Then we had a relaxing walk home through the beautiful seafront gardens. They are so pretty and well kept and they are all maintained by volunteers. I saw one of them working, so stopped to thank her for the work they do. Here are a couple of my best selling Easter designs. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387
