Foxy Parking by Tina Fitch

Well this week I had a little surprise on getting out of my car at my local Tesco store, I needed a few bits so off I trotted,, parked the car ad walked towards the door of the shop, On my way I came across the little fox just sitting in a car park space hhaahaah, He or she looked so smug just sitting with the cars.A little bit shabby too I have to say but he or she didnt bat an eyelid! Strange really to see him just sitting there everyone was looking and pointing but it didnt really bother him. When I came out he/she has moved so I presume he or she just went home. And my SALE is now ON!!! dont miss out on emptying your wish lists..

Winging their way by Janice McFarlane

Last week I shared some of the Crocheted and needle felted items I had made for the Animal Link Foundation which is a non profit organisaton, which inspires community support by volunteers. They sell craft items to get craft and medical goods to Wildlife Carers and Rescuers. There has been a fantastic response world wide to various animal charities in Australia where according to WWF over one billion animals have perished in the awful bush fires. Sadly some animals still are dying even though they have been treated. But through all of this there are some wonderful accounts where the recovery of the animals is very positive, and some have been released back into the wild. New babies have been born especially from the Koalas and Kangeroos. I am so pleased I was able to contribute in some way, and on Monday my contribution was winging its way to Port Macquarie, New South Wales.

Turning into a crazy cat lady! by Jane Minto

Ive always had dogs, always thought about getting a cat, but it didnt happen till two years ago, when my daughter asked for a cat.We adopted a 1 year old cat from a local shelter, her name is Duchess. A year later we adopted a kitten from the same shelter, her name is Marie. My daughter picked the names from the Disney movie The Aristocats as she loves that movie. On Saturday we adopted our third cat! A one year old fluffy boy called Mickey. So thats 3 cats and 2 dogs in our fur family now.One dog and two cats are my daughters, so if she ever moves out, Ill be left with just two. Which means I can adopt more animals haha!

Because of my love for animals, a lot of my recent designs have included cats, dogs and wild animals, I hope you will visit and have a look.

I have just returned from a fantastic holiday around the other side of the world. Here I am in the most amazing garden I have ever seen - The Orchid Garden in Singapore. What an incredible place, I was surrounds by the most beautiful orchids. This photo just does not do it justice at all. Every direction I looked in I could see nothing but orchids. Singapore is so clean , what an amazing country.

its ... by Carol Clarke

... been the half term holiday here in Nottinghamshire and so we were able to have our youngest grandchildren for the day. Unfortunately the weather didnt play ball and wed got rain rain rain all day! Luckily I had anticipated that this might be the case and had prepared a new indoor game! We had great fun playing with the giant Snakes & Ladders! I drew the board on a sheet of cardboard and painted a few characters onto stones to use as the counters. These together with a giant dice kept us all amused for hours! Next up will be Ludo ... I just need to find another large sheet of cardboard first though! lol Below are two of my NEW 3 in 1 Floral Heart - 3D Shaped No-Hole Fold Back Card with Decoupage Mini Kits. Watch out for more ... Coming Soon! lol

The Manatees are coming soon!

by Janice Shehan

I just love the waters around Florida, especially when it is time for manatees to come inland to breed. They are truly gentle giants and its so much fun to go snorkeling with them. They are very large, and sometimes, at first a bit intimidating because of their size. However, they are gentle and endure our human curiosity even around their young ones. The green on their backs is just algae growing because they do swim close to the surface and very slowly. Its going to be a wonderful spring and summer here in Florida, USA!

A Royal Thank You by Vicki Avcin

Royal Caribbean Cruises has made an offer to all our volunteers who have responded to the bushfire season, either as front line firefighters or in operational centres that supported the fires. An opportunity for Volunteer First Responders to be awarded a cruise holiday! To acknowledge the bravery and selflessness of Volunteer First Responders during the recent bushfire crisis, Royal Caribbean are donating, across the country, up to 7000, four night coastal cruise holidays onboard the superliner, Spectrum of The Seas. The cruises will be departing Sydney on the 29th February 2020 and 7th March 2020.Volunteers from all Fire Services across the Australian states as well as SES have to apply then a ballot will be done to see which cruise they will go on cruising the east coast in Australian waters. The cruise leaves from Sydney Harbour, but volunteers have to pay their own fares to get to and from Sydney and any accommodation they might have before and after the cruise. If people can get the time off work and can afford to go to Sydney then its a great holiday. I know of one vol and his wife who didnt have a honeymoon so they are on the March cruise and using it as a honeymoon! Spectrum of the Seas usually does the routes to China, but with the corona virus they have cancelled all cruises so instead of sitting idle in port they have made the offer. Great gesture.
