Michael Jackson - The Legacy Tour, Australia

by Sandie Burchell

My Son, Steve, just got back from Australia after a month long tour with his Michael Jackson Tribute Band - The Legacy. This is him with Michael. It was a successful tour, which included some time for sightseeing, which he loves! He said the weather was better this year than when he did the same tour last year.

I have some lovely Christmas Bumper Kits this week. The designs in the Bumper Kits are also available to purchase separately, if desired. Thank you for looking! x

Finally.... by Judy Potts

I have finally been able to start back on designing again. Its been a horrible time, my computer crashed and wasnt fixable so I bought a new one online then had to wait for it to get here. When it got here the ram was corrupt and it kept crashing so then I had to send it back which started another wait. Waiting for it to get back to the company, waiting for them to fix it, waiting for them to send it back to me. Thankfully they were very nice about and as quick as they could be. It took me more time to research and find a computer I wanted at my budget then it took for them to receive it, fix it, and send it back. Which gave me some time to come up with new ideas and a totally new template! These are some of my newest designs, I will be putting my new template design up later this week.

Birthday and Christmas Kits also sold separately! Great value!

Christmas in Disney by Tina Fitch

Yes its official! Christmas arrived in Disney this week 2nd November the tree in Magic Kingdom went up along with the rest of the Christmas decorations! After 31 days of Halloween it was just lovely to see the Christmas tree erected the very next day. They must have thousands of nights workers to change everything overnight! But stunning to walk into the next day. They certainly work very hard here in Disney!!One thing I can say is nothing is a rush and nothing is too much trouble. I love it here

Beautiful Rainbow by Anne Lever

I woke up this morning to torrential rain and wind, lovely. I sent my son out to school with his brolly up, but when I left the house 15 minutes later, the sun was shining, and this beautiful rainbow greeted me just as i stepped out of the door. A lovely thing to see at anytime, but especially first thing in the morning. It set me up for the day!I have seven new bumper kits coming out today and tomorrow, and they will all be put on discount as soon as they go live x

Winner! by Vicki Avcin

My husband has the lucky touch. When we lived in Bowen he won a 4.7m boat worth $26000 in the Fishing Classic that is held each year. That was about 13 years ago. He regularly wins different things and often enters competitions. He won a $2000 compendium of movies to celebrate the 100 years of movies. It had over 100 of the best of 20th Century Fox plus the Australia movie starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. He occasionally wakes up in the morning and says I had a dream I won on the pokies last night, lets go down and play a few dollars. Yep his dream turns into around anything from $300 to $1000 usually with just $20 in the machine. Mr Lucky Fingers strikes again! So during October he saw a competition on a Facebook page. Now he is a Jim Beam man but the competition was for a Wild Turkey esky. You needed to purchase a bottle of Wild Turkey that had the competition details on it, enter the competition online with the code on the label that was on the bottle…… and wait. On 29th October he got an email to say he had won the esky worth $300. We went down to the local Bottleo where hed brought the WT from and picked it up……. Very nice esky. Padded seat and good and solid esky too. Perfect to take out on the boat. Now if he could just put his lucky fingers to good use and buy a winning lotto ticket that would be awesome!!

GHOULISH ... NO ITS JUST TRADITION

by Wanda Lipski

Those who follow me will know I love sharing what life in France is really like. Well, this is the 1st November, actually All Saints Day, the day before the 2nd All Souls Days. So technically, we should all run down to the cemeteries on the 2nd. The French love being just a bit different so they declare the 1st a bank holiday so that everyone can rush to the florist, buy a huge pot of chrysanthemums and take them down to the pay homage to their loved ones. Consequently, our cemeteries look absolutely gorgeous just at this time of year as all the tombs are covered with flowers. I hope you enjoyed your fireworks in the UK and wishing you all a very saintly week. ENJOY!

Field of Poppies by Janice McFarlane

With remembrance day coming up this weekend, we are reminded of those who gave their all for our freedom. In the few weeks leading up, in our village and the neighbouring ones there are poppies on the lampposts and for months ladies have been knitting and crocheting poppies to decorate around the cenotaph, flower boxes and shop windows. It looks amazing. It reminded me of a picture a freelance photographer took of my grandson Alfie when he was about two and a half years old, (He is 7 now) walking in a beautiful poppy field near RAF Wittering where his dad was stationed. Alfie is holding his mums hand, and I think the photographer captured the moment beautifully. He did sell his picture to a national newspaper, and it was published for the weekend of remembrance memorial services. Its continues to be a favourite picture of mine and my husband, who incidentally will have the privilege of laying the poppy wreath on Sunday as an RAF veteran at the village cenotaph, on behalf of the church we attend.
