Climbing Trees by Tina Fitch

Could not believe my eyes on my weekly visit to Lakenheath this week.. A Lamb tree climbing LOL... there was quite a few in the field chewing the grass then I swung my camera round to take some photos of them and saw this cheeky lamb trying to climb the tree to get the leaves at the top..I have seen goats hanging from the sides of mountains but a lamb climbing a tree no I have never seen one.. It was quite a surprise I can tell you... There wasnt just one either several tried to do same thing to get to top for the top leaves,They must be the best at the very top thats all I can say..See my new collection of PaperCut Luminaire Boxes, I have a few now and more to upload so please check them out.. here https://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

Ducklings by Vicki Avcin

Last September the two wood ducks that occasionally visit brought two little ducklings to show us. Proud parents, but wary of us. We couldnt get close to get a good photo but they were so tiny it was hard to photograph them. Each day theyve been bringing them to the bird feeder and slowly weve been watching them grow. We were like proud grandparents and would panic if they didnt show one day. Mainly because we have foxes in the bushland around us and I was hoping they hadnt been a meal for one of them. But theyd show the next day and since then weve marvelled at how quickly they have grown. They have been getting better at having us around and dont take off like they used to. Today the babies have become quite happy to have us around and camping just outside the blind at the front patio has become a regular habit now. They even stick around when its bird feeding time because they know theyll get a feed too. This drought has been bad for the wildlife and lots of animals are interacting more with people in the hope of getting fed. So four more mouths to feed daily now.

This weeks designs are 2 of my Easy 3D Look designs. Quick and easy to make and they look great when finished.

V & A Museum of Childhood by Sue Way

I posted a news story about our visit to the V & A Museum of Childhood a few weeks ago and thought I would share another picture with you. My sister and I used to have this exact toy twin tub and we loved playing with it. It was just like a real one, it even had a little hose on the back that emptied out the water. We loved washing all our little dolls clothes then hanging them on the airer to dry. Such happy memories. Here are a couple of my best selling Christmas designs. Thanks for looking x Sue x http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

Just ... by Carol Clarke

Starting her first shift! One of my older granddaughters, Stephanie, has just joined the crew at our local McDonalds restaurant! Shes just started her college course and this job is a short walk away so it fits perfectly! Stephanie has always been interested in how I use my computer to draw and design and weve had many sessions here where Ive been showing her how to use Photoshop etc. She really took to it and Im happy to say that she chose to do Graphic Design ... and sailed through the selection process getting a guaranteed place! Its good that she will now learn from the professionals though .... Im totally self taught and probably do it all wrong! lol Below are 2 of my Christmas Diorama Shadow Box Cards, fabulous little cards that are simple to make but look really stunning when made up and will WOW the recipients. There are 2 layers inside these lovely cards that Pop Out automatically when the cards are opened. ** Also with the exception of the diorama layers all the rest of the decoupage in the kit is separate! .... So you can choose where or if you use it! And as theres lots of decoupage to choose from ... meaning you can make your card differently every time! **

4 Years of Growing Up by Janice McFarlane

4 years ago we brought home a beautiful chocolate and cream Ragdoll Seal Point Kitten. We called him Bailey because of the lovely creamy colour of his fur. I had fallen in love with Ragdolls after seeing lots of pictures and reading about their nature. I was fortunate to find a breeder not too far from me. Bailey really chose my husband and me rather than the other way round, so we knew he was the one. He has all the attributes of the Ragdoll breed, his coat is super soft, he has a beautiful gentle nature, follows us around the house, flops when we pick him up and the most beautiful blue eyes. I was looking back at photos from when we brought him home at 12 weeks to how he is now. As you can see most of his coat is a creamy colour with slight chocolate brown markings over his nose, as Seal Points get older the colour of their fur intensifies and goes darker, and now his whole face is dark chocolate brown which accentuates his blue eyes. He is adorable and we love him.

Hospital Stay by Joan King

I have been home just a couple of hours after my hospital stay and surgery on my knee. I had an MRI done but unfortunately it didnt show all the problems until he got inside it (not literally of course!!!). I ended up having a lot more surgery than intended and am home now with a very sore knee and unable to walk yet. So frustrating. My surgeon has been by my side for 40 years now and in fact he was one of my husbands orthopaedic registrars and he is about to retire soon making hubby feel so old now. This is probably the last surgery he will do on me so he went out with style. His initials are BT and when he came to the room to draw an arrow on the correct knee he had a little fun. I hadnt realised until we got into theatre and everyone started laughing. He sure got into the spirit of things. It hasnt washed off yet either. Here is a photo of what he did just above my left knee.

Holiday with My Girls by Mary MacBean

Last week I went for a lovely wee holiday in Pitlochry in Perthshire with my daughter, granddaughter and 2 great-granddaughters. In 4 days we visited the Highland Folk Museum, Falkland Palace in Fife, Blair Castle, Active Kids Adventure Park in Stanley, Perthshire, the V&A in Dundee and the Enchanted Forest just outside Pitlochry. We had the obligatory trips to McDonalds and the fish and chip shop, and afternoon tea in Hettys Tearoom in Pitlochry which was lovely. The Enchanted Forest was magical, as the name suggests. The skill and imagination in putting the show together is phenomenal. The only downside was that my granddaughter informed me on the third morning that she had seen a big spider crawl under my bed. I never found it.
