Secret Society Member by Janice McFarlane

My grandson Harry who is two, has a habit of not liking to wear clothes. Wherever he goes within a few minutes his top is off, along with trousers etc. This is much to my daughters embarrassment and sheer horror. She has tried everything, to try and stop him doing this, especially when out and about. So on holiday in Greece recently, she was pleased that Harry didnt strip off once, so she thought great perhaps it was just a phase. So on returning home she was hoping that things would remain the same. How wrong she was, on the first school run taking Harrys older brother to school, Harry decided to strip off. When my daughter sent me the picture, I commented that it looked like he was ready to go through the initiation for a well known secret society, with one trouser leg rolled up and no top on. Was Harry trying to tell us something? Who knows?

Cobra Warrior 2019 Israelis Aces by Tina Fitch

Royal Air Force aircraft have been joined by jets from the United States, German, Italian and Israeli Air Forces for Exercise Cobra Warrior. The photo today is of the Israeli Air force F15D Strike Eagle Aircraft, I drove down to RAF Waddington on Tuesday Morning early to get my space a the fence, We enjoyed a lovely day of air training from the Israelis the Italians and the German Air forces. It is the first time the Israeli Air Force has flown jets in UK airspace. To be honest it was lovely to see other aircraft fly together. It aims to develop the skills of aircrew whilst trading knowledge with other countries. The hope is that if the time comes to fight together in the future, they are ready! All files in all formats https://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

Another lovely day out! by Sue Way

This time we went to Felixtowe. We have never been before and thought it was just a port. But we were pleasantly surprised to find a really lovely town, with a beautiful seafront, with a clean prom and colourful beach huts, coffee shops and very friendly people. There is a heritage trail along the clifftop gardens, with lots of interesting features including this willow sculpture. We drove to the top of the cliffs to the town, where there are lots of shops. We sat outside a cafe and had lunch n the sunshine and Billy was a good boy sitting under the table while we ate. Another lovely day, we will certainly return to Felixtowe. Here are a couple of my best selling Christmas designs. Thanks for looking x Sue x http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

LIFE IS SHORT - HAVE A DESSERT by Wanda Lipski

OK this might be in French but I spotted this wonderful sign in a restaurant this week where we dined in your shady courtyard as the weather here is glorious after a chilly start to the month. Since Im definitely a dessert girl (too bad about the hips) this sign spoke to me, shouted at me and I had a rather delicious macaron... just obeying orders ... Ive been playing with more Ratatouille cards as we are still chasing (although not catching any anymore) our friendly neighbourhood rats so I hope you appreciate my final ratty offerings. Have a good week and ENJOY!

Scarlet Honeyeaters by Vicki Avcin

We have lived here for over 12 years and know most of the wildlife around here. Many come to eat and drink daily but lately the wildlife scene is a bit out of kilter with the lack of rain that provides natural food and water. About 3 weeks ago, we saw what we thought were finches in the Grevillia tree in the front garden. Had never seen these finches before so I took photos and put them up on our local Bird Identification Facebook page where they were identified as Scarlet Honeyeaters. (Myzomela sanguinolenta) These gorgeous little (tiny) birds have the most gorgeous red head on them and they have come daily to get the nectar from the native tree flowers in the garden. We were really surprised that we hadnt seen them before although their habitat is from North Queensland around Cooktown all the way down the east coast of Australia,(seen less regularly south of Sydney, but do go as far south to Melbourne), it is the first time weve seen them. Scarlet Honeyeaters spend most of their time feeding high in the tree canopies when there is blossom. Despite their brilliant colour such dainty little birds can easily be overlooked but their distinctive little tinkling songs carry a surprisingly long distance and always betray their presence. Duller plumaged females are not only less conspicuous they sing very little, if at all.I hope they keep coming to visit.

Here We Go Round the Mulberry...Tree? by Clare Walker

A week or so ago, we found ourselves looking at this magnificent mulberry tree (it`s just too big to be called a bush whatever the nursery rhyme says). The tree stands near to Charlton House in sout-east London, and is thought to have been planted when the house was built in the early 1600`s. Try as I might, I couldn`t see any actual mulberries on it...But never mind. If I were to look this good at 400, I think I`d be more than happy.

beautiful flowers by Anne Lever

My brother was aware that I havent been feeling too well recently, Ive just gotten over a long horrible cold, and he randomly turned up at my door with a bunch of beautiful flowers. I love getting flowers, and these are beautiful. They brighten up my kitchen and fill my house with a lovely scent. Bless his heart.
