For Charity by Tina Fitch

Last show for me of the season last Sunday 1st September! And all for Charity.I always said my car RS reminded me of a Stormtrooper and it certainly attracted them on Sunday!I had 2 stormtroopers and Darth Vader come and have a little browse of the RS.They seemed to be really taken with my car as the headrests were kitted out with Stormtrooper masks... They kept returning to me and I felt quite chuffed to think they enjoyed standing and attracting attention for my RS.. The best car they said LOLTheir photos are also on their website so everyone can see.. All in the name of Charity of Saint Francies Hospice who do a wonderful unpaid job!All files in all formats https://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

Qld Emergency Services Volunteer Pin by Vicki Avcin

Last night I was presented with my Emergency Services Volunteer Pin. These pins were released earlier in the year during National Volunteer Week, where the contribution by all Volunteers throughout the country is recognised. It was suggest that Queensland Volunteers in Emergency Services should have their own pin and thousands of people across the State have been presented with them. Fire and Rescue Service, Rural Fire Service, State Emergency Service, Emergency Services Cadets, Volunteer Marine Rescue, Australian Volunteer Coast Guard, Queensland Ambulance, Surf Life Saving Queensland. Red Cross, Royal Life Saving Society Queensland, Local Ambulance Committee and Police Citizen Youth Club who have been in their respective service for more than 12 months are awarded this pin. It is something that no matter what colour the uniform, all 86,000 volunteers will wear with pride. Mine will be worn with pride as one of those volunteers after 26 years in the Rural Fire Service.

Todays promotion is from my newest uploads which can be made as a basic card or a shaker card, one with Australian Flowers and the other a retirement card or male birthday

RATS! Yeuk.... by Wanda Lipski

HAMELIN TOWN s in Brunswick,By famous Hanover City; The river Weser, deep and wide, Washes its wall on the southern side; A pleasanter spot you never spied; But when begins my ditty, Almost five hundred years ago, To see the townsfolk suffer soFrom vermin was a pity. Rats! Do you remember learning the poem in your children ... Well we have them. Global warming (or something) has seen lots of people in the village emptying the shelves of anti-rat products. Well we got one ... and the only good thing about our rat hunt is that it has inspired me to a series or Ratatouille cards. Disney made rats cute and lovable. The reality is not cute so loveable, but have a good week and ENJOY!

Just .... by Carol Clarke

... Relaxing! It was another lovely summer day here in Nottinghamshire for our Cuddle & Giggle day outing with our two youngest grandchildren Sooo we packed our picnics, grabbed some drinks and headed out to Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire! Luckily we were able to find some deckchairs in the gardens to take a moment to relax and have lunch. which is lucky because the rest of the day was full on ... we had a fabulous day but were all tired out by the end of the day! lol Below are 2 of my pretty floral birdcage easel cards ... Watch out for more ... Coming Soon! lol

I am back. by Lyn Simms

I am back now after a month touring the UK visiting friends and family and a few interesting places. One of which was Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland. Owned by the Armstrong family of Armstrong and Sidley fame, the castle has many of the state rooms open to the public. There is also a museum which houses one of the original Armstrong Sidley cars, and relics of jet engines etc they designed and which were used during the war.We travelled up to Abbotsford which was where the grand house was built and lived in by Sir Walter Scot. Although breezy and rain threatened, we strolled down by the river and visited the four rooms open to the public. We also went on to Jedburgh in Scotland and visited the castle prison, (long since closed to prisoners!!) and a house where Queen Mary Of Scots was reputed to have stayed. All very interesting.I will soon upload some new designs but in the meantime why not look at these done some time ago.

Fun in the Sun by Janice McFarlane

My daughter and family, have been on a family holiday in Zante, Greece. The boys were very excited as it is their first holiday as a single family unit without other family members being with them. They love the resort and the pool area with a massive slide, as well as getting involved in the many childrens activities. My daughter sent me photos and videos on a daily basis of what they had been up to on the day. One of the evenings they were at a Greek restaurant, where Harry took a shining to one of the waiters, which is unusual for him as he is usually shy. There was entertainment of traditional Greek dancing and Alfie got a lesson in plate smashing, which of course he loved. Although I do hope that my daughter has explained that we dont do this at home. All in all they have had a lot of fun in the sun.

New Bag by Anne Lever

My loved and trusted over the shoulder handbag had finally given up the ghost. It had given years of service and I loved it. It had lots of pockets, held everything i needed and hung at just the right length from my shoulder. I thought all was lost when it finally broke beyond all repair. My daughter took my old bag, took it apart and built me a new one from the template of the old one. I bought the fabric I liked, and in no time at all, my old bag was back! it felt the same, had all the right bits in all the right places. Sewing and making is something I do not do, so I am very grateful that my daughter can.

Lets Go Visit the Dinosaurs! by Helen Howell

I am looking after my little granddaugher for a couple of days a week just at the moment, so try to take her out on an adventure at least one of the days. This time we went off to Garden World to visit the Dinosaurs in the inside Catus Garden. At not quite three she loves to see these things, and when she sees their teeth she makes a growling noise to show how fierce they are. The little ones, she pats on the head. I think this adventure was a success with her. Where to next I wonder?
