Cooking is Fun with Nanny. by Helen Howell

My little granddaughter who is almost three years old, came to stay for a couple of days. Last time she came she did some cooking with me, so I asked if she would like to do some cooking again. She certainly did and this time we made rock cakes. So she had a go at adding the ingredients to the bowl, stirring and plopping the mixture onto the baking sheets. The cakes came out more like stepping stones rather than rocks, but tasted lovely. When she went home she took a box full for her mummy and dadda. Cooking with Nanny was once again a success.

Here is one of my new kits, and also a topper.

Families Day by Janice McFarlane

As my daughter and two grandchildren live on an RAF base because my son-in-law is in the RAF every year most bases have what they call a families day. A time when the base gives the families a day out with lots of things to see and do, like displays, fun fair, stalls, etc., etc. At the base where my daughter lives, they have Puma and Chinook helicopters so it can be a little noisy at times. On families day children and adults are given an opportunity to have a pleasure ride in either one or the other for free. My daughter and eldest grandson Alfie chose to have ride on a chinook as this is Alfies favourite helicopter which he absolutely loved. There were lots of things to do, and petting animals was one. Alfie loved the donkey and was told if he knelt down the donkey would come and put his head over Alfies shoulder for a cuddle, which the donkey did. Harry also enjoyed the day and loved going on the rides. The whole event along with activities is free and a lovely time for families to be together.

Air Show! by Sue Way

Last Thursday and Friday it was our towns air show over the sea. The weather was wonderful, so on Friday we filled the paddling pool and our granddaughters watched the aeroplanes from there and sitting on top of a little storage shed. We laughed at this smiley face that one of the displays did. This week I have been added more cute Christmas designs and some new Fashion Reflections. Thanks for looking x Sue x http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

Maid .... by Carol Clarke

... Marian lives again!! Well to be more accurate its Maid Olivia! lol But as we do live in Nottinghamshire I guess we do know a thing or two about Robin Hood! Clumber Park where we were shooting the arrows is only a stones throw from the Major Oak and would have been a place that Robin and his band of Merry Men knew well ... although theyd most probably have been trespassing there, whereas we were enjoying the Sports laid on by the National trust who now own it. We werent that good at the Archery though .... most of the time we didnt even hit the target! lol Below are 2 of my pretty floral easel cards ... Watch out for more ... Coming Soon! lol

Proud Supporter by Vicki Avcin

Last week I showed you my shirts for the Real Firefighters Wear Pink. This weekI am proudly wearing my shirt and doing it for the firefighter friends and colleaguesthat are battling the Big C or have passed away from it. The 12 cancers deemed to 100% have been caused by doing their job over the years have taken too many good people and the money raised from the sale of the shirts goes to help the Firefighter Foundation goes to support the firefighter and their families both during their battle and in the cases where weve lost people the support goes on after they have gone. This shirt is the more dressy of the shirts, the other being the pink camo T shirt which is cotton so can be worn under PPE. Not often I post photos of myself but happy to for this cause. This is not only done in Australia but the US does the same thing and hopefully it will become a world wide thing in the years to come.
