With June, comes Floridas rainy hurricane season. Its raining everyday now with storms that last about 2-3 hours. Then the sky clears up and a beautiful sunny day is ours to enjoy! I love Florida, land of Disney World, oranges and sunshine, and now Im getting use to the storms every year. Thanks for looking, I hope you like my newest designs, I certainly love creating them, each and every one.

A Great Testimonial by Janice McFarlane

My 7 year old grandson Alfie had the privilege of being asked to be part of a Testimonial celebration for Darren Oxley, one of the Oxford Allstars professional Ice Hockey players. He was officially retiring after many years of playing for the Allstars, and concentrating now on coaching the adults as well as the Junior Allstars which Alfie plays for. He was so thrilled to be asked as Darren was one of his favourite players, and he is so excited that Darren is now going to coach. I was so proud of Alfie as there were only 8 Juniors chosen, and they had to perform in front of a larger than usual audience, so was quite nerve wracking. Alfie and the other juniors also got a special shirt to play in as a memento of this special occasion.

Cuteness Overload by Vicki Avcin

Well last week I told you about our new little friend. It is definitely a sugar glider and simply the cutest little critter. It has been here every night munching away in the bird feeder. But it has been joined by one of our big possums who has now discovered the feast. While the sugar glider seems to prefer to eat birdseed in the feeder, we moved a big stump into thegarden and have been putting pears on that and we know thebig possum is eating the pears, but we think the glider is also. The possum only turned up a couple of nights ago while I wasat Cadets and hubby missed getting a good photo(was just agrey blur lol) but Im hoping to get some photos of it too. Itwont be as shy as weve had them before and they just sit andstare at you, but the little glider usually goes and hides when wego out, took a lot of patience to get photos !! Look at those big eyes…….. isnt it just the cutest little fellow. Definitely cuteness overload around here at the moment.

This week Im promoting a fantastic pack of Birthday inserts (check out the photos that were done using these) and a pretty Butterfly corner stacker design .

Look .... by Carol Clarke

.... at what Ive done to Daddy!! Weve had rain, rain, rain ... and even more rain here in the Midlands this week! Because of this a trip to the park after school was cancelled and we headed straight home to play. 7 year old Olivia decided it would be good fun to dress her Daddy up and tied her school cardigan around his head ... she then asked for my phone and took a photo! You have to admit she did a brilliant job of tying him up ... and took a fabby photo too! lolBelow are 2 of my NEWEST designs. Watch out for more Coming Soon!! lol

Jessicas Birthday Treat! by Sue Way

Last week was our granddaughter Jessicas 11th Birthday. I cant believe that she will soon be off to senior school, it doesnt seem 5 minutes ago that we welcomed her into the World. We saw her on her birthday to give her presents and cake, then the next day the whole family went to Lego World for the weekend! They were worried that Jess might be too old, but she loved it! She is a bit of a daredevil so went on all the big rides. Here is a picture of Jess and Imogen looking so happy and having lots of fun. Here are a couple of my newest designs and dont forget to check out my special offers all with 25% off! Thank you for looking x Sue x http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

British Museum by Tina Fitch

We traveled to London Last weekend, By train to see some sites and places I hadnt been to since I was at school. My husband and I and our eldest Daughter and her husband and the twins decided to have a mooch round what I wanted to see.The girls are studying Greece at school now so they wanted to see all the Greek history and coins so we did that first, and as we went round we came across the Egyptian rooms, I have always been interested in Egypt and the history so we took some time to look around at what I missed on the school trip all those years ago... I was always talking as a child so I never saw half of what I went to see on school trips hahaha we were always mucking about and missed it all.We came to to Mummy Room which I have always been so interested with, it amazes me how to this day they are still in one piece, I had to go see them it was so scary I think that there was actually a person under those clothes wrapped around them.Although I wanted to see them I also think that really when you die and are in your finale resting place you shouldnt be dug up for people to look at you...Yes I wanted to see them but they shouldnt really be there.. you just dont get buried to be dug up do you? Although its history and amazing they had all that knowledge so long ago to preserve the body.. I even saw a person with hair.. laying in a burial chamber well in a round of stone should I say.. He was still a person black with age but a person... I came out feeling rather emotional to be honest that these poor people had been lifted from their resting place..

American Citizen by Sandie Burchell

A couple of weeks ago I became an American Citizen. After living in the USA for over 40 years on and off, I love this Country and decided it was time!49 of us took the oath together at the Courthouse in Las Vegas and the ceremony was lovely. The people taking the oath were originally from many different Countries but I was the only one from the UK. Certainly a much more personal experience than my Husband had when he became a citizen in Los Angeles in 2013, where there were more than 5,000 taking the oath together! The photograph shows me in the Lobby at the Courthouse after the ceremony with my Naturalization Certificate and American Flag!
